Any interest in putting together/maintaining a Github Git project that hosts proven decks of all major archetypes and documents their changes over time?

New preview of a new card!

10 colorless mana, for colorless non-artifact creature: 12/12, Draw 4 cards, ANNIHILATE 4 cards when attacking!

(but only if you "cast" it)

I will do a little dance the first time I pay  {W} {U} {B} {R} {G} for this in EDH.

I like how it does nothing with Dream Halls (apart from, uh, Painter's Servant)

I posted this in the other thread but I think this set is all colorless.

Kozilek has a set number 6/248.  In zendikar and worldwake white cards and then the rest of the colors make up the lower numbers, and artifacts are the end.

If that's a "white" card, then what the hell do the black cards do? Or blue? !!!

There's an order to card numbering, something like the following:
White
Blue
Black
Red
Green
Multicolor Combinations
Lands
Colorless Artifacts (Esper/Borderposts show that color trumps artifact)

The number on this card just shows that Colorless Non-Artifact is a separate category that comes before White.
There are probably 10-15 Eldrazi cards in ROE, since within each category numbers are assigned alphabetically, and we see K = 6.

Vintage is a lovely format, it's too bad so few people can play because the supply of power is so small.

Chess really changed when they decided to stop making Queens and Bishops.  I'm just glad I got my copies before the prices went crazy.

The order for Alara Reborn is slightly different : as it is a fully multicolor set, the cards are arranged based on color combination (2 colors allied starting with WU and ending with GW, then opposed colors, then 3-color stuff), whereas the multicolor cards in all other expansions are put together in alphabetical order.

There is no precedence for where colorless spells would appear in the numbering order. It would make perfect sense to me if colorless simply went before white, and then after that the numbering continued as normal.

This is numbered 6/248, and starts with "K." The chances of only five cards in the entire set starting with the letters A-J is practically impossible. Of course, they could split up "colored" colorless spells like Ghostfire et al, plus lands and artifacts, but the text "This spell is colorless" on 100+ cards would get pretty tiring.

ROE is a large set with 248 cards, since it is meant to be drafted alone.

It is notable that you get the 4 cards even if he's countered.

Only if he's cast though, so not with Oath, Show and Tell, Eureka/Hypergenesis or Necromancy/Makeshift Mannequin.

And Djinn of Wishes, probably the best standard legal enabler.  Ponder + Halimar Depths + Jace2.0 + Djinn + Eldrazi = win?

Fuck it, might as well add Polymorph while we're at it!

Other cheatyfaces: Hideaway lands; Horde of Notions+Conspiracy/Ashes of the Fallen; Intet the Dreamer; Leaf-Crowned Elder+Conspiracy; Maelstrom Archangel; Twinning Glass mwahahaha; uh...Maelstrom Nexus and an 11-mana card...o_0

I can't wait for Planeswalker's Mischief to be anti-Eldrazi hate!

I kind of like this new spoiled mechanic:

Rebound (When you play this card, if you played it from your hand, exile it.  At the beginning of your next upkeep, you may play this card from exile without paying its mana cost.)

My bet:

 {U}  Sorcery

Rebound

Draw three cards.  Then discard three cards.

EDIT: Or, "Then discard three cards unless you discard an Eldrazi."

Whoah.  That's a crazy new card.

Certainly seems worth testing for those archetypes.  Might be too mana intensive for Fish, though.

Making a "useless" twist on a popular big card turned out soooo well in the past...

so i'm assuming you can 'level up' as much as you want each turn?

That is a rad little kid ability.  In some deep dark corner of my mind I've always wanted to see my guys Level Up during the course of a Magic game - honestly, how does that Squire fight day in and day out and remain a jank little 1/1?  Sooner or later he must get a little better at it.  I might buy some of these cards.

Figure of Destiny had random 'level-up' flavor but not quite as blatant, and that guy turned out all right.  I still needs a playset of FoDs Sad
