4, T: Proliferate (You choose any number of permanents and/or players with counters on them, then give each another counter of a kind already there)
Uncommon Can't believe I didn't think of this til now... Proliferate works amazingly well with Modular creatures. I'd be not at all surprised to see them make a comeback (or a similar mechanic introduced). |

Yeah, since we're going back to Mirrodin it's actually a fitting mechanic - if Modular rears its head again and Infect is everywhere, then add in the obligatory Planeswalkers, Proliferate makes both much better. Thematically it's great, even if over the grand scheme of Magic it's kind of a stupid keyword.
I wonder if a new cycle of artifact lands is waiting in the wings. My dusty old Ravager Affinity deck would eat them for breakfast.

that ACHROMA keyword is kind of intriguing. Could mean we'll see more stuff that produces colorless mana: some kind of colorless mox (of which there's been speculation due to some art that was spoiled); maybe land that taps for either a color or a colorless. Like, uh, colorless dual lands. You know: Colorless Swamp: Tap for (B) or for (1). This might open up more design space for dual lands, which seems to be a space that's already seen a lot of exploration.

I'm leaning toward fake myself. But RnD said they hesitate to make an artifact planeswalker because of older cards that interact with artifacts (ahem, Tinker). But in one instance, I could see them making an exception. Not saying they will, but I wouldn't be surprised one bit if they breach that sort of thing some day. |

The Karn Plainswalker is obviously fake. Why make a plainswalker indestructible? that makes a ton of confusion, as many players will assume he does not lose loyalty when attacked.
also
-5 to return ALL artifacts. That means it would return itself, and also allow you to use his ability AGAIN. NO. FUCKING. WAY.

If Achroma was a real keyword, that might allow for a colorless mox. If the mana generated could only be spent on colorless spells (or only on artifacts), they might be willing to print it. Probably have to be legendary though.

According to a post on MTGSalvation (sourcing itself MTGNewsPoland), one of the next Judge Promos will be Wasteland. The Wheel of Fortune promo we knew was coming before the end of the year (from the reserve list restatement) will also be coming soon. Wasteland is an interesting choice, sure to be highly sought after. |

Ew, the new Sword is mythic :/
Steel Hellkite is in concept a really neat control finisher; beat for a ton and EE you every turn. I think it's weird that the Green beater is the one that showcases "Metalcraft", since Green tends to despise artifice, but what the fuck ever, there was never a color pie.
If Ichor Rats is an indication of Infect's playability, I'm guessing it'll be one of those things that's on the fringe (meaning, it'll be bad). Another one of those "if it works...." things. 2/1s for 3 will not a good deck make. :/
