61 players is pretty awesome. Could you give any insight into what is making these tournaments a success for you guys?
* I believe 1 of the reassons is, that in The Netherlands aren't that many tournaments.
The Last tournament was in February.
* The seccond part is PR and communication with all the players.
We post our announcements on all the known forums, even on Solomoxen (Fr), Die Zusammenkunft (Ger), Morphling and Germagic (Ger).
We also try to announce the event at least 6 weeks before it takes place.
* The third is our on Dutch Vintage Forum
www.themanacrypt.nl.
This provides a place for all the Dutch vinatge players to discus decks and tactics in there own lanquage.
*The Fourth is a garanteed price support.
We had once 25 players and still gave a Mox and a Drain. This is what players will remember
* Fith is that there is always a card dealer in th room, and I believe the fact we had the Bye's to give to the Top 2 for BOM 3 was a factor two.
Stimulating new Players is also very important, each tournament I meet new players, who are playing for the first time in a tournament.
Talk to them and ask if you can help them with something. This helps to give them the feeling they are welcome.
Breda is also a City in the South of The Netherlands, with very good public transport and Highways nearby.
From Belgium a doozen players come and from France a few Players come regulary.
About the prices. I believe we gave almost, if not as much in cards vallue as the income of the Tournament and still had to pay for the Room and staf members. Entry Fee is only
10 Euro, is approx 13,- Dollar, So that is not that high.
But Blue based duals, Foils and some older cards, Boosters and some deckboxen where there for the rest of the Top 8.
