Eudo wants 20+++ for their tourneys.  The funny thing is, this Dec. tourney would had been the highest turn out as everyone who was at Superstars on Sat. was all disappointed there were no type 1 this Sunday.

Well I sat around all day today doing nothing.  Would much rather be taking top 8 pics at Eudemonia, but they didn't follow up and post in this thread what is or isn't going to happen.

I love Eudemonia P9. Who is DKAO (whoever posted this thread initially)? Then I can call and talk with him about some minimal effort to advertise that the Vintage Tournies are going on.  I assumed that Potato sorta worked for Eudo, but he seems to be out of the official loop.

Wait. Don't you guys have Judge Ryan's Cellphone number?  I know he doesn't post (or probably read) here, but he should have answers.

Looking forward to DEC 20 Superstars and whatever is in store for Eudo in January! Smile

(I woulda brought The Deck dec 6, I swear to god...)

I do work for eudemonia. Dkao is dean, the store manager. I've asked him several times if I could take over posting announcements and that sort of thing on TMD since he seems unable to keep up with it, but every time he says he wants to keep doing it himself.

Introduce me to him next time (whenever next time is!)

I'm  sure he knows who I am, but I don't know who he is.

Can we get an update about when the January tournament will be? Remember Superstars is on Jan 17th this month.

Potato told me that the guy who schedules them has been gone for a month (vacation) hence no update on next tourney.  I wouldn't get my hopes up for January.

Hi everyone,

Sorry for the silence coming from the eudemonia crowd. We're taking steps to continue our p9 series, which has been temporarily put on hold because Dean needed to take time off. Tim, the other Ryan and I are working together to try to put it back together though and we'll be sure to update you guys when we have a date for the next one.

Do not worry, we have not forgotten about you, we just lost our leadership and have taken a while to regroup. Now we're having trouble scheduling, since so many tournaments are happening right now it's hard to find a space where we can be sure that everyone can make it Smile

Hang in there, and thank you LotusHead for reminding me that I need to keep posting!

Thanks for the update. While we all want Vintage to happen ASAP, I have a feeling that March would be a better time than February for Eudemonia (with the Oakland thing, and Superstars and Worldwake etc).  But people PM me on this site (and SCG.com) for updates like I have anything to do with anything! Smile  That's why I pass the pestering onto you (or Web).

Feb. is an unreal month, it is the beginning of the new season.

1st week -> GPT @ Superstars.  A week before the actual GP.  Honestly, this week is the "best" week to hold the type 1 tourney.  But also Superbowl is also this week.
2nd week -> GP: Oakland, 1st major event of the season.
3rd week-> PT: SD, 2nd major event of the season.
4th week-> SuperStars 5k. Fri + Sat. And Superstars is having their mox tourney at Sunday

Just to echo what Ryan (Potato) said, I don't think Eudo had forgotten the type 1 community, just that there are some problems such as leadership, organization, Dean's situation, scheduling conflicts, and etc etc etc that makes it hard for them to schedule.  Of course, as a player we want things to be constant, but whatever, things happen and shouldn't blame Eudo.  Feb. is just unfucking real month for magic.

edit: I seemed to copy and pasted something in the wrong place where I meant to say Superbowl... wtf-_-

So I've spoken to the other Ryan and Tim, and Eudemonia's next event will be Sunday, March 7th. If any of you have any reason why we shouldn't do it that day, please say so.

The prize is as yet undetermined, but will be mox-level - just not sure what color yet (what eudo has, etc). The possibility also exists that the prize will be Time Vault.

Thank you all for hanging in and I hope to see you all there on the 7th.

Thanks for the update.  I started a new thread so as to be able to update the TMD calendar etc.  PM me for any Eudo-related info/issues and please use other thread now.
