Ok, so there has been a massive black hole of monthly vintage tournaments since the Beanie Exchange closed its doors. I Ran 2 large scale events in 2008, had a blast at one of them, the other fell short of expectations.
What I decided to do after this summer was get back to the basics of what made me a successful TO in the first place and run smaller scale monthly tournaments with solid prize support. I am bringing back to New England magic what it has missed since 2005.
WHERE:
Matt's Sports Cards
169 Elm Street
Enfield, CT 06082
WHEN:
Saturday October 24th
Registration starts:10am
Tournament starts:11:05am SHARP.
WHAT:
$25 entry
15 proxies free
GUARANTEED PRIZE STRUCTURE:
1st: Mox Emerald (will likely be upgraded to Mox Jet)
2nd: English Mana Drain
3rd-8th: random good stuff
Prizes to 3rd-8th at 20 players, cash splits will also be available.
Plenty of free parking, and about 25 places to eat within 5 minutes of the store. Tournament is guaranteed personally by me to be amazing, and that is all you should need to attend. Commence the trash talk now, I'm pretty good at patrolling TMD.

Unfortunatly, This event falls on United Nations Day AND World Development Information Day, So I'm not sure I can attend  However, this is the store where Jer and I L2P Vintage - from none other than Travis himself. So I guess I will have to miss out on all that great World Development Information and UN fun... |
