15 card proxy, unsanctioned event

$25 entry fee
Registration begins at Noon and the tournament will begin at 1PM

Prizes are being worked out, but a Mox Ruby is guaranteed for first. (In fact, so close to Valentines Day, I wouldn’t be surprised by a red prize theme)

For those that did not attend the last event, prize support increased with attendance to Mox Sapphire, LOA, 2x Mana Drain and 5x Force of Will

The last event was a Time Walk, Time Twister, 2x Time Vault and 4x Foil Tezzeret

It's been brought to my attention that I cannot read a calendar - FML
This event is on Saturday the 20th of February
I cannot adjust the topic line- can a mod adjust?

You're talking about the cookie that 9th place gets right?

WOW- This is shaping up to be one of the most competitive vintage events in a long while:

Who will walk away the victor?
Will it be local favorite Paul Mastriano?
Does Steve 'Smennen' Menendian have what it takes?
Will Rich Shay make his way from CMU to dominate the local dojo?
Or will Twaun dredge his way to a win?

If any of the Philly guys are planning on attending and need lodging, let me know.

Will be attempting to get some of the Philly crowd to join me for this event in addition to trying to make it out myself. We will see how that goes with my new job....

Mox Ruby guaranteed for first... if we get 36 players Mr Nice Guy Games is adding a second Ruby to the prize pool!!!!

Also, the store recently picked up a Mishra's Workshop.. could possibly be second place; waiting for confirmation.

A possible two Mox Rubys?  Awesome!

I'm looking forward to playing with Worldwake cards.

ZOMG!  Rich "I have a white kung-fu suit" Shay is going to be in the house! This tourney is going to be off the meat rack!

Even more important than the tourney, who is going to be picking up the great Atog?

I'm sure we can swing The Malice of Retribution or The Trogvan of Friendship by and pick you up. Post up if you still need a ride.

Things I've heard in the rumor mill
-If Stephen Q. Menedian goes 0-2 he is going to change his online handle to The Situation.
-Yangtime might be supporting his Scottish heritage by wearing a kilt.
-Team Serious might be not be bringing 32+ Lodestone Golems.
-Paul "Sculptini" Mastriano may not be wearing a shirt with the color pink in it.
-Nat Moes may not be playing Belcher. He might also show up.
-Team Serious might not eat at Primanti Bros. twice in one day

T-minus 8 days and counting

Everybody: it would really help me out if we can all just agree not to not play Force of Will or Spell Pierce.  Thanks.

Prize support confirmed:

Guaranteed: Mox Ruby for first, 3 duals with red for second, 2 duals with red for third and fourth, 1 dual with red for fifth through eighth...
At 36 players a second Mox Ruby enters the prize pool... and as always, prizes will scale upwards based on attendance!!!!!!!!!!!

As far as Atoglord.. I will pick him up if he cannot secure a ride  Very Happy

Does Meandeck hold the qualifications to escort such royalty?

Hey, thank you. I appreciate it. But it looks like I have a ride from someone else who here lives in Squirrel Hill.

The weather forecast looks GREAT coming into this... (Besides, Twauns decks are so hot, they would have melted any snow on the ground!)

Who's all coming into town for this?! More important, how many trips are we making to Primanti's?
