I'll be there.

I wanna trash talk! Man, I’m Going to Cut You Up So Bad, That You. . . You Gonna Wish I Didn’t Cut You Up So Bad!

But honestly everyone should come out cuz the vintage players in the area are awesome and the terminal market across the street has the sickest food ever.

Leaving all the trash talk aside, this is going to be an awesome event and I'm looking forward to playing.  See everyone on Saturday.
I plan on beating Nick Detwiler's brains in with a terrible deck, playing terribly overpriced (in both value and casting cost) cards.  Look out Nick, here comes Jokulmorder!

Bring it.

I haven't played since the first week of January.  I'm looking forward to playing in an event and showing off some new technology.

My old man works for the school district in Philly.  As of now, they're shutting down the whole city at noon, to remain shut down all through tomorrow.  I don't think it will be highly likely that the convention center will be open on Saturday.

On a scale from 1 to 10 how serious is this? We were thinking about coming from Cleveland, but now we have to discussing our options. I'm 99% sure we are locked in for the adventure, but if the venue is closed we'll probably be testing at Twaun P's kitchen table.

That seems a little dramatic.  As of right now, there is no snow on the street outside my house, and i'm 10 minutes away.  the forecast for the next 3 days is "possible accumulation of slush of 1 inch".  This thing is going down, and if you use snow as an excuse then you're just scared of facing down D3G in the vintage tournament.  You know who you are, it's ok, we understand.

I was worried about snow.  I'm not any more; the snow has bowed down to me and I won.

See you all Saturday!

Anyone who's is backing out because of snow

1. Doesn't know the forecast, which at most is 4 inches reported.
2. Is obviously scared they are going to lose.

Either way I smell fear.....And more girl scout cookies for me

It isn't the snow that is scary, its the fact that someone said this.

"The whole city" is not getting shut down, I'm guessing that by "the whole city" his dad means the elementary schools.  Seriously, the Convention Center is open and so is the city.  It's go time!

ALL LIES!!!

Hehe, just kidding, I'm keeping an eye on the weather (out my window & online) and I can let you all know that I'm not cancelling unless the Convention Center tells me to (which I have never heard of them doing).

Called my buddy Josh  who works for PennDOT, they PLAN on having the major roads cleaned up by Friday night with most being done by Saturday morning minus the side streets and whatnot. I would bet money that this event I going to happened as planned on Saturday without delay.

A small amount of snow through early Friday should NOT affect this event on Saturday, the day after Friday. I really don't think elementary schools closing tomorrow means that Philly will be nontraversable on Saturday.

That's a dangerous offer considering some of our compatriots...

I'm coming no matter what.  There's nowhere near the amount of snow on the ground that some of the local weather idiots were predicting.  The drive will be fine.

This is going to be an awesome time, and I'm thoroughly looking forward to it.  I know that there is a very large contingent of players who will be making the trip from the Long Island area.

I'm also up for some side team competition if anyone else is game.

And by the way, Nick, awesome job on the thread.  You'll crush 5k views come Saturday and that's just absurd.

How's it looking over there in Philly?  It's pretty bad up here in northern-central Jersey...bad enough where I think the weather will enable me to come...assuming it's still on.

There's a lot of snow here and it only gets worse as you go north; much more than predicted.
