21 People showed up to a very quiet tourney.  
First place wins a Mox Emerald.
Second place gets $100 store credit.
I don't recall if the prizes trickled down further than that.

I piloted "A Lode Of Crap" featuring 4 Lodestone Golem, 3 Lodestone Myr. I went 2-3. but had at least the satisfaction that in round 5, at 2-2, I was in fact fighting for a top 8 spot.  I lost to TMD's own BC (Blaine).

My camera is on the fritz (or maybe it just needs a full recharge on the batteries) so I took some cell phone pics.  They'll be up later.  Decklists will be up soon.

we were the only two people playing fish i remember watching his game against josh round 2 before i played josh and he had a thirst for knowledge in his hand. So unless he forgot to write it he definitely had at least one.

Some sweet moments:

Started the tourney 0-1, then 1-2, and was able to squeeze top 8 @ 8th. 

Got raped by BC's mono R stax in round 1.  Kept 1 lander with Thoughtseize, Ancestral, and assortment of restricted cards that I can't recall.  But never drew another mana source for 6 turns.  As it turns out, if I turn 1 Ancestral I wouldn't had gotten there.  G2 I actually just punted, I thought Mono R stax didn't have caps in the board.... literally just punted.  Though when he capped me I wasn't in the best position... so oh well. 

Winston my cube with Web round 3, pretty standard pairings.

Got a sick draw where I hardcast Hellkite Overlord turn 4 after I Oath out an Iona in quarterfinals g2 after up a game. 

Then I got nutted by Dan in 2 games, not really complaining because I def. got enough mileages from this deck already XD

nice squeeze into t-8 Jeff   , although unless I am blind, I don't see mindslaver in your decklist, which I distinctly saw you play against Wed, or were you two playing other decks at the time? Also, I feel silly for leaving after my opponent didn't show up when I was at 1-2 (thus I "won" that match which would have brought me to 2-2) so I could have competed for your t-8 spot , or where there 5 rounds? Anyway Eliot and I left after R4.

Fun tournament, although I was not playing a tezz deck, which is listed under the picture of my game with Brett, I was instead playing the MirariKnight version of "the deck" (empty the warrens // sphinx) with slight modifications to the landbase and a meta sideboard.

Web's version of the deck looks pretty sweet, I like the loam and compulsive research synergy.
