OK gents. We're going to try this again. We had 11 players for the last N.Y.S.E. Lite - probably because there was a Grand Prix going on at the same time.
First off, the details:
What:
N.Y.S.E. Lite
$15, 15 proxy, non-sanctioned Vintage tournament
Prize Structure:
1st: Mishra's Workshop
2nd: Revised Underground Sea
Where:
The Comicbook Depot
2847 Jerusalem Avenue
Wantagh, NY 11793-2016

When:
Sunday, August 15st
11am registration, 12pm start
Two important pieces of information:
1. The prize support for this event is not guaranteed.
2. The prize support for the Mishra's Workshop becomes guaranteed at 12 players. The prize support for the Underground Sea becomes guaranteed at 18 players.
Guys, the prize support on these events has generally been well above average. I have given away a Timetwister, Bazaar, Workshop, 2x Jaces, and more. I run these events to provide a consistent source of events on Long Island, but I need everyone's support to make this work. Add up the dollar values on the prize support and you will see that neither the store nor I make much, if anything, off these events. It is important to support the store, and Long Island Vintage - I will run events for as long as I can, but I can't run events without support.
I'll be there, and I'll be driving people to and from the event. If anyone needs to borrow cards, or decks, let me know and I'll do the best I can. I want to see a great turnout on Sunday, help me make it happen.
As always, there will be side events. Depot has picked up a few exceptional collections recently - which means that we can run 8 man events for duals, Forces, or other Vintage staples. There will also be non-sanctioned M11 drafts available to all who are interested.
It's short notice, but I hope to see you all next Sunday...

Same deal as with Tom - if you can get to the Oceanside train station (on the LIRR) around 10:30, I can get you to the event, and back to the train station after the event. |

The closest LIRR train is probably Speonk from where I remember Remsenburg is. If you can make it to babylon you can take the train to Merrick or Bellmore and I can help you out from there. |
