Looks like a pretty sweet little tool for UB decks against shops. While Annul is better to solve Oath as well, Steel is good on the play AND on the draw and can be comined with other blue anti artifact spells like Hurklys Recall in UB Drain Tendrils for example. Side effect: also works against Bots (beside Inks), Rod or Vault.

It's too narrow of an effect.  In fact, this whole set is starting to look like it's filled to the brim with cards that have very narrow applications.

I could see this card popping up in sideboards against Stax, can't decide if it's better than H.Recall/Rebuild/Chain of Vapor though.

I could see this coming too. It is probably worse than Ingot Chewer, but at least not worse than Natures Claim in the Shops matchup and more synergistic with say a Tendrils kill. And it is blue so it leaves you maybe with the option to not splash a color to hate Shops. It certainly doesn't work against Oath but in certain metas this might be a good weapon to fight shops togehter with some mass bounce in straight UB builds (Drain Tendrils for example, where it can also act as a little storm enable while serving as counter as well).

With the spoiling of Blightsteel this card might be a bit better than we think.

Recently Tezzeret deck cuts Trygon Predator;which is spoiled by SOM hellkite.And Steel Sabotage can be a substitute for Natures Cllaim.
I think it helps UB or UBr Tezz
