At the moment, it looks like StarCity has every card set up for preorder. They don't have images, but the text is there. You could also try a google search for "new phyrexia pdf". You just might come across an interesting torrent file...

Can someone get me a link to this spot where everything is spolied?

If you do a Google search for 'Godbook' and 'New Phyrexia' you'll end up where you need to be.
Extra hint, a blog called mtg realm claims to have put up a complete text-based spoiler.
You sure your sig is appropriate? Just sayin. Razz

Looks like Mana Crypt will be a DCI Promo this year: http://forums.mtgsalvation.com/showthread.php?t=327096

This is cool, since it's only legal in Vintage and Commander.

Good news for Commander-precons: every commander deck will have a Sol Ring!

I think this is a smart move.  And it leads me to believe that they do not plan on lowering the power level of the Commander format.

From the Commander set

I'm no deckbuilder but I sense a lot of implied synergy around this guy with weird decks like Dredge.  At 3B it's a little costly in the face of good ol' Tarmogoyf, but it's not hard to imagine circumstances where he's just bigger and meaner, and he feeds himself in the process.

I noticed, from the MTGSalvation spoiler, that some Commander cards are uncommon, and the rest are rare.

What is the reason for this?  Are the uncommon ones "shared" by other pre-con Commander decks, and the rares unique to their respective decks?

What is the rarity of Mana Crypt?

Why would WOTC give the new commander cards any kind of rarity?  What does this mean?

I know some cards could easily be dropped into m12/new blocks, but why are some cards uncommon?  Is this a signal?  or just "it feels like uncommon, so we put it at that"?

Thoughts?

Lastly, what vintage worhty (and by that I mean SHOP worthy) cards are in commander pre-cons? I know of the red enchantment of Timevault hate and search hate, but that's it.

They have been doing this with pretty much every one of these box sets, whether it be Duel Decks, Premium Deck Series, Planechase, Archenemy, and technically even FtV (they're all Mythic Rare Very Happy ). In PvC for example, they decided Urza's Rage and Phyrexian Negator were going to be Mythic Rare, and same for Knight of the Reliquary for KvD. In the Phyrexia deck, there are just as many Carrion Feeders as there are Phyrexian Negators, so in that set on its own there are exactly as many of each of those cards. So in actuality, a PvC Negator is just as "rare" as a PvC Carrion Feeder, yet they gave them different rarities. For a less extreme example, the same is true when comparing Negator to Living Death. Again, one each in the deck, and both were previously printed as rares before Mythics existed. You can speculate as to why they did this, but it probably ultimately comes down to marketing and one just "feeling" more rare/mythical.

Aaron said that the rarities mean: for old cards, last rarity. For new cards: "Common" if it's in all 5 decks, "Uncommon" if it's in 3, and "Rare" if it's in 1.

Despite having just spoiled Mana Crypt as the next DCI Judge Promo foil apparently the one after that will be Goblin Welder.

Original artwork, but new borders and foil.

They really need to quit dancing around Force of Will.  Make it a judge promo already, WotC!

I don't think a judge promo Force of Will would put enough copies into circulation to alleviate price concerns.  If anything it could be a huge pain trying to get 4x of them to foil out decks.  I mean, if WotC wants to effectively give judges $300 bills instead of $50-80 that's cool with me, but I'll probably be sitting that one out.

See: DCI Wasteland, last year (not that that hit $300, but, that printing was not the first time Wasteland appeared in foil, and the old MPR one commands a higher price due to preference for old-borders and good artwork).

I mean, there's nothing stopping them from putting Force and Jace 2.0 into a duel deck (which has much higher print run) and actually resetting prices to a more reasonable level.  Except, y'know, that it would make available to people all they need to never play Standard again.  (Note: Jace 2.0 also required to actually play Standard currently.  So... stone, meet birds.)  (Note-Note: Also, barring power creep continuing.)

Well, Hexproof is just about strictly better than shroud, except in cases involving a Mindslaver-esque effect, or Radiate-ing your own removal spell, or that one Nephilim.  It's nice that you can continue to equip your Voltron'd up dude without exposing him to removal by taking the boots off temporarily.

True, but the zero equip cost of Greaves is what makes them so awesome, IMO.  For equipment that provide haste, cheaper is significantly better.  Also, it enables various infinite combos.

It appears that Flashback is coming back in Innistraad!  Check this link:

http://forums.mtgsalvation.com/showthread.php?t=331976

Of all the keywords that they've come up with over the years, I think Flashback is one of the most important for Vintage.  Ancient Grudge, Cabal Therapy, Moment's Peace, Dread Return, Ray of Revelation, and Deep Analysis are great examples of Flashback's potential.  Here's to hoping we get some good cards in the next block!

The 3rd Jace got spoiled today.

Jace, the Memory Adept
3UU
4 Loyalty

+1:  Draw a card, then target player mills 1
 0:   Target player mills 10
-7:   Any number of players draws 20 cards.

First of all, due to the dominance of the other Jaces, I thought this one would be Chandra Ablaze unplayable.  I also think he's better than he appears.  The fact that he comes in, draws a card and is already at 5 means he's sort of hard to kill (I'm talking about Standard here, obv.)  Plus, the fact that Gideon is in the format means he'll be protectable.  Not to mention, his mill 10 ability can put away blue mirrors really, really quickly.

Maybe they'll print 'Stiflejack': Gain control of target activated ability, you may choose new targets for the ability.

Actually that could cause huge problems in Legacy due to the tempo-swing of jacking a fetchland.  Depends on the casting cost.
