VINTAGE in 2011!!!
I am saddened to say that Eric Smith, owner of The Players Guild, has sold the Bloomsburg store. As disappointing as this is, the good news is that I am now 50% owner of this location!! I encourage and would love everyone to come out and see the new layout Brandon Brown and myself are going to create for the store, as well as attend our weekly non-mtg game day where we will preview and play other games currently being played. Our new hours, going from being open twice per week are more than doubling, as our regular hours are Monday through Friday 1pm - 9pm, as well as open on Saturdays for big time events!!! So with this being said, I am proud to introduce the Council Open #6 and ask you to come support the new ownership of The Players Guild!!!!

Ninth: TBD and a pat on the back
NOTE: Everyone, please keep in mind, second through eighth prize is subject to improve. Under 40 players will be scaled to reflect attendance. The sole purpose of this event is to thank everyone who has been so supportive of the Bloomsburg events so far! So keep in mind, if attendance rises significantly above 40, so do the prizes. If attendance gets high enough, there is always the potential for first prize to improve as well!!!! Please everyone, show your support to the vintage community and new ownership of The Players Guild, come out and be part of another great event. The Council Open in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania!!! FYI!!!!! Council members should do their best to attend!!!
As always, I will be set up on location as a dealer for all your buying, selling, and bartering needs.

We are aware, but thanks for the input. We've had to run against them in the past and attendance was only skewed slightly. With the minimal amount of possible dates in the month we are strapped for choices, but we intend to hold them monthly regardless. First place is guaranteed either way. We are hoping our vintage faithful's come through!!!!

the plan for me is to hit this tournament Saturday and then hit up the SCG on Sunday. Who wants to play Standard, anyways? This is like the last week of Caw-blade, something I think most people wouldn't mind missing =)

Yeah and I'm trying to get off this Saturday but it probably wont happen. I gotta put it my week for gen con too haha. I have been making more money at one of these tournaments than I make the entire week at my shitty job. |
