Yea, I'll go with whatever you name your deck the first time, but I'll be damned if you get to change it every event Smile

And besides, "Best Deck Ever"?  Really?

what makes the 2nd place list Suicide Jace Vault?

how many of the other 7 decks under "suicide jace vault" actually play Bob?

That was the one deck that I included in the Suicide Jace Vault category that did not have Bob, in lieu of creating another category all together.  That was the only difference, otherwise all of the decks are very similar.  See Paul Mastriano's deck from previous events or from Brian Demars article to see what the "original" SJV deck.

I don't think I've ever gotten into one of these debates, but people have been playing bob time vault lists for years, with and without jace. Credit to Paul for being an awesome and frequently format-shaping player (everyone with a brain tests whatever he plays after lists are posted, and he usually top 8s so his lists usually are), but I don't think the list deserves its own category and name. It's just bob tezz with jaces, isn't it?  I'd suggest callingl it "Mastriano control" ala what we have done with Demars' list, since in both cases it is really the fact that one players particular tuning of a blue deck is being copied, rather than the card choices themselves, that is notable.
