Well, who said Dredge Reports are not interesting or funny. "If you win, can we mail DeMars hundreds of zombie tokens?" for the hilarity. xD Do you know how many Dredge decks were showing up at GenCon? How did you feel playing without Leyline of the Void? Has the artifact mana been good? Congrats again - for the third time.

Thanks Guys!!
@Adan
I really didn't expect too much Dredge as long as I could get through the first couple rounds I believed I was going to be able to dodge it.
It was weird playing without Chalice and Leyline but in the end I think it was fine not having them in my 75 for this particular tournament.
The artifact mana allowed for a couple quick kills and overall I felt pleased with them in my deck. I may tinker around with the idea of cutting some or all of it for other cards, but I am not sure of what will be added at this time.

Raffaele Forino, who was able to get me refocused (and back from the ledge) for the week's preparation for Vintage Champs.
Great, so I have my brother to blame for Dredge winning Vintage Champs Congratulations again!!!! Philadelphia finally has an idol to look up to aside from Rocky (who happens to be a fictional character).

I was curious as to how you felt the shops matchup for the deck was. I noticed you faced/defeated it twice. It seems a little like the deck design sort of throws caution to the wind when it comes to wasteland and strip mine as you mentioned that it's more dependent upon Bazaar than other builds. You mentioned getting blown out by those effects in game 1 against Ryan Glackin.

I feel the matchup can be pretty rough for you. Rd.1 against Ray I got pretty lucky he didn't hit a land with his agressive mulligans. I also was pretty fortunate to win my top 4 match against Glackin. Shop decks have the cards to make it very tough for you to win, especially with only 2 Ichorids, but they do need to draw those cards. They can get hands that are able to just blow you out, but given how the metagame at the time was trending, I was hoping to dodge Shops for most of the tournament.
