However, unlike Energy Flux or Trygon Predator, it can phase out Gaddock Teeg, Mindcensor, Meddling Mage, and annoying creatures against Fish.   Realm is only good in Doomsday -- otherwise I would have played it in TPS in 2008 (although I tested it).  It's really, really good in Doomsday.

Why is it really REALLY good in D-Day and NOT good in TPS? I don't get it.

For the answer to that question, you'll have to dig up my 6-7 year old SCG analysis of Teferi's Realm, or just wait for my primer Wink

Teferis realm? What kind of deck is this?
I remember my reaction to seeing this card on Steve's vintage checklist back when such things were available free of charge. After looking the card up on Gatherer I thought it seemed a bit farfetched and unworthy of inclusion as I had never seen it played in Vintage. In the biggest card disappointment thread it was actually the example I used to indicate how unplayable another card must be to not be included on the list. I stand corrected and my vintage card evaluation skills humbled.

@Jaco

Gratz man! Very Happy

What did you play day 1? And why did you switch to 2-card-Monte?

I included Teferi's Realm in a legacy deck sideboard a little bit ago, to phase out all of Enchantress's enchantments. It is a three mana blue spell that gets rid of all enchantments, without triggering Karmic Justice. That makes it fairly unique.

I will say this. For as much fun as I had, all I have been able to talk about is that final round feature match. I don't think I have had more fun watching a game ever.

Ray, as I said right to as I left, thank you again for a great time. Now, if I can only finish better than .500 next year...
