September, September, September. There just aren't enough open weekends in the month. BBGD 17.5 will be on September 10th, for those local guys that can't make the drive to Connecticut for Ray's event. Same time, same place, but this tournament will be cheaper, with a smaller prize, but should still be a lot of fun! Also, this event is Ray Robilard approved!

Format: Vintage
K-Value: Unsanctioned, 10 proxies allowed for free. You can purchase up to five more proxies at $1 each.
REL: Competitive (like a PTQ)
Decklists will be required (and published).
The Prizes: (based on give or take 30 players)
1st Place: UL Mox Sapphire
2nd Place: $80 in store credit
3rd + 4th Place: $40 in store credit
5th-8th Place: $20 in store credit
2011 Player of the Year Race:The Vintage event will count towards the Blue Bell Game Day Player of the Year 2011. The Player of the Year plays for free at all of the Blue Bell Game Days the following calendar year! Players can earn points throughout the year by playing vintage, each match win is worth 3 points, each draw is worth 1 point, and each loss is worth 0 points (just like the swiss points system used in tournaments). Players in the Top 8 will be awarded bonus points based on their finish, as follows:
1st place: 12 points
2nd place: 9 points
3rd + 4th place: 6 points
5th - 8th place: 3 points
Side Events: Single-Elimination 8-Mans!
Start Time: As soon as 8 players sign up.

1st Place: $60 in credit

The Blue Bell Player of the Year contest has nothing to do with Wizards of the Coast Player of the Year contest. Do not confuse the two. This one is for participants in unsanctioned Vintage tournaments held at Alternate Universes in Blue Bell, PA.
