Mark's Comics 3/3 Time Walk Tournament

On Saturday, March 3rd, Mark of Mark's Comics is going to be running ar Saturday Vintage event.  Here are the rough details:

What:


$25, 15 proxy, non-sanctioned Vintage tournament.

1st place prize will be an Unlimited Time Walk, to be guaranteed at 20 entrants.  If less than 20 entrants show, Mark will lower the entry fee and run the prize as a credit breakdown between the top finishers.

Additional prize support will be given out with additional entrants.

A couple of important disclaimers:

1.    I am NOT the tournament organizer for this event.  I am announcing this tournament for a friend.

2.   This tournament WILL NOT count towards any of the NEV player levels.  This event and ALL NEV events are SEPARATE.

Pretty sure that Mark isn't going to be doing decklists, but I can't be 100% sure without having spoken to him.  I'd recommend asking him on FB or calling the store on Friday.

This coming Saturday March 3rd at 12 noon we have a Magic the Gathering Vintage event with the top prize a near mint/ mint Unlimited Time Walk!!!!! $25 entry fee. 20 player minimum for the Time walk. More prizes will be added for additional players. Will run the evnet for a smaller prize if 20 players are not reached. We had 24 for the Mox Pearl, so should be a great time.

He was showing you that Mark thinks this is for a Time Walk, and you have it listed as a Sapphire. At least that's my interpretation of this.

I played in this and it was a good time.  We had 17 players but we worked it out so we could still play for the Time Walk which we cashed out with the store and split amongst the top 4 anyways. 

We didnt do decklists, which is cool for the casual nature of the tournament, but in the future I'd recommend that they do it because posting the winning decklists is a good way to promote the store and encourage more people to come out to the next tournament. Considering he still has a nice looking Time Walk to give away, I have a feeling that this won't be Mark's last Vintage event.
