Brian DeMars wrote an excellent article for StarCity, which can be found here:

I also heard reports about Rob's Pernicious Deed (a card that I hadn't really considered playing for fear of destroying my own artifact mana in VC) being a really effective tool at curtailing Noble Fish and Workshop decks. So that is a neat piece of technology worth thinking about.
I'll respond here since I'm not on Facebook.

Deed is also useful versus non-Show and Tell Oath decks. Deed helped win my round one match vs Paul. He had a board of Oath, Vault/Key, and BSC but had to pass the turn. I wiped his board with Deed, bounced BSC with Jace, and won from there.

Game two versus Andy in top eight, I was facing down two Pridemages while at two life. I topdecked Deed.

Both times Deed saved me, and losing my own artifacts wasn't problematic. I'll probably continue to run Deed as long as it proves itself useful.

Great article, it's nice to get a feel for what the Vintage environment looks like.  I'm starting to feel it shifting back to where it was back in the days when fish/creature style decks were being played regularly.

I also think given the rise of creature decks that Oath is in a very strong position right now, provided it can deal with the cage (and I think it is certainly well equipped to do so)

Kudos to the top 8 thanks for some great lists and thanks to DeMars for another great article.

Bill Copes bought me a beer after using the power of his mind to remove all the Bazaars and Serum Powders from my deck in two consecutive games.

great article Smile

I still don't see Griselbrand being the best Oath target. Rune scarred demon is THE best. Even Tidespout tyrrant is more appealing to me in Oath than Griselbrand right now.
Brand will only be played successfuly in dredge, Imho.

Thank you, again, for a great article  Very Happy
