I have been away from playing vintage for a few months, due to my son being born and grandfather dying and such, but I have put a list together and would like to know which change would be better for the current metagame. Here is my list:

4 Workshop
4 Tomb
4 Factory
4 Wasteland
2 Ghost Quarter
1 Tolarian
1 Strip Mine

1 Black Lotus
5 Moxen
1 Sol Ring

4 Lodestone
4 Metamorph
2 Karn

4 Smokestack
4 Sphere
4 Chalice
4 Wire
3 Thorn
3 Crucible
1 Trinisphere

Sb

4 Cage
4 Tormods
3 Dismember
2 Ghost Quarter
2 Tabernacle

Now my question is, seeing that creatures are dominating and chewer is everywhere, is thorn worth it? The card that I was considering for that slot is Ratchet Bomb, it sweeps moxen, kills creatures, and seems to play well with Smokestack and Karn. Then if I go with Ratchet Bomb, do I need to change my SB to accommodate the change?

If you are replacing Thorns, which may be a decent idea, I suggest Revokers.

Also, you should absolutely be playing Mana Crypt and Mana Vault.

II.  Lack Of Content

Purpose:  Bandwidth fees are expensive and no one likes sifting through dozens of posts to find one that is worthwhile.  Specific examples of posts that violate this rule include, but are not limited to:

2.  Posts which include decklists alone; card choices should be addressed and explained in order for a post to be useful.

If you're going to throw a decklist out there, there really needs to be more content than this. This might have been better as a discussion of Thorn of Amethyst with a more in depth discussion of why you feel it's not as good now as it had been previously and a discussion of possible replacements.
