Can we please see a video of the bend test?  Wink

Yeah I'll just fold it in half.  I can rip it too if you want to really make sure it's not fake Wink

That looks very clean, it will make a great addition to my collection.

Who says I'll sell it to you after I win?

My victory is assured. It's been independently confirmed by Nostradamus, the Mayans and Miss Cleo.

I see. Well since they're all 100% accurate, as evidenced by the apocalypse yesterday, I guess there's only one thing to believe.

You still haven't answered my question.

There's a lot of amateur predictions in this thread so I've taken the liberty of sacrificing not one, but several hens, to accurately predict the outcome of this tournament.  After reading the right thigh bone in several attempts (the left is obv. reserved for the vintage spirits) there is no doubt that Mike will claim victory.  Odd number of holes and the particular bamboo orientation inside said holes clearly indicate the outcome of this tournament.  For reference, more bamboo was pointing to the upper end of the bone -- indicating headstrong instead of feetstrong.  I'd take a pic of the bones as proof but it's just in not proper Kammu etiquette.

I was delighted and relieved at the bones' revelation because I know Mike is an awesome guy and easily the best trash talker on this site.  I later thanked the Vintage spirits by offering extra sacrificed hens as praise.

It's in all of your best interests to metagame your way to a successful second place victory.

Hi guys.

Chris, I'm not sure but I think you just got trolled.

Edit: okay, okay.  The travis bit was awesome.  Probably on another level of trash talking.  Perhaps I'm judging the quality of trash talking based on the responses of the intended target.  Mike here used very little text and it sent people into a rage where mods had to step in.  Hard to beat that.  Yours was a more enjoyable read overall tho.  You both get gold stars in my book   Smile

Looks like it's going to be a small car from New York headed to this, including me, and potentially a former world champ.

This would be great and much appreciated since we fail trained your last event.

I just saw that pre-registration has been added to this.  How many players are currently pre-registered?

Last I checked with Niko at the store, before the holiday's, they had registered roughly 15 or so I think he said.  This does not count a lot of us who have already agreed to go but have not registered.  I will try and get a more recent number from them tonight when I'm there.

Craig, in his infinite wisdom, realized that the Patriots would be playing in the AFC Championship game on Sunday and strategically planned the tournament the day prior to avoid a conflict. This is especially impressive planning given that the Patriots were 1-2 just coming off a week 3 loss to the Ravens in Baltimore when the tournament was announced. Well played Craig...well played indeed.

Looks like I am no longer able to make this event.  My father, brother and I have been gutting a home in Long Beach and while it seemed as though my brother would be able to cover me on Saturday, that is no longer the case as he is tied up with family obligations involving my mother and grandmother.  Sorry, gents.  Best of luck with the event.

Really dad to hear that you won't be making it nick... But I definitely understand.   Hopefully some of the others from Ny will still make it.

At any rate I'm really pumped as this is coming up very shortly.   Looking forward to seeing everyone there!

It is my humble honor to congratulate William "Bill" Copes on winning today's event after going undefeated (with the exception of one draw) all day.  Congrats Bill and Enjoy your Mox.

Look forward to my TO report with more details, deck lists, and shout outs to all the amazing people who helped make this event a success.
