Any chance that there is a link to a live stream? Hoping to live vicariously through the stream since I was unable to attend Sad

I put my Wastelands and Force of Wills in a pitcher and tried to pour them in a cup...... I really didn't see any type of liquidity.

Clearly we need to restrict Lodestone Golem, as he's oppressing the field.

I'm hoping for some sort of stream as well. Wasn't able to make this one. Also hoping a good # of people show up and you break 100 attendance!

While I'm disappointed that I can not be there, I am more than certain that this event will be a smashing success for you, Mr. Detwiler. Thank you for following through with this idea and putting on such an awesome Vintage event like this, and hopefully be able to put something like this on again in the future.

I cannot wait to see the decklists, and to see who pulls down that trophy.

78 players in the tournament. Would have liked to have broken 80, given the number of pre-registrants and the number of people who showed up without registering.

That being said, we have 78 guys playing Vintage today. I love that we have that many guys in the room.

We had some issues with the beginning of the day. There will, unfortunately, be no video coverage. I should, however have the tournament report up for the event sometime early next week.

Any updates?  What's the field like?  Who is doing well?

It was Tinker/Time Vault/Jace something.  My guess would be Grixis but we were leaving as the finals started and I couldn't verify Volcanic Islands, Bolts, or Dark Confidants firsthand.

There was an interesting Workshop Aggro deck with Genesis Chamber in the Top 8, and the Top 4 was Paul, Lance (Bomberstill), RUG Delver, and Josh P (Landstill).  Also of note, there were at least two decks in the event at large running multiple copies of Phyrexian Negator that caught many people by surprise.  I didn't memorize the entire Top 16 of prize winners but it also included Josh Butker (Doomsday), Rob Edwards (Martello Shop), Tom Dixon (Espresso Shop), and me playing Mayor Fish.  There was a BUG Fish among the others and I think a Bomberman variant with Restoration Angels instead of Salvagers.  Quicksilver's BUG Midrange was poised to do very well before the last round but I didn't catch him after to see if he'd won.  Merfolk and Bomberman (Kohler & Murray) did very well additionally.

My sincere thanks to everyone who showed up yesterday.  While it was hectic for me for a while, I had a great time running the event, and I hope that I get to see you all next year!

The tournament report for this event has been posted in the proper forum.  I really like the Blue Angels lists that made top eight.  Definitely worth checking out.
