Isn't this the Sunday of GenCon?   Confused

That seems like a really bad day to me; if it has to be a Sunday, why that one?

This question will be answered soon (not sure if I'm at liberty to break news), but there is a damn good reason for it to be GenCon Sunday.

The reason this event is on a Sunday...

More information can be found on our Facebook page.

All apologies to those of you who are attending GenCon.  For those that aren't, however, we can still celebrate Vintage without it!

Yes. It could have been easier. Say with you at Gencon. And then perhaps I can get past T8 this time...   Very Happy

Hi all!

I'm a grad student from Philly, and I'd really like to attend this tournament but I don't have a vehicle.  If anyone from the Philly area is going and has an extra seat in their car, I'd be eternally grateful for a lift.  Thanks in advance!

ITT: Noble heard I was going to GenCon, and is making another move to infiltrate my life as my replacement while I'm absent. I am now 97% sure he is a doppleganger.

Little does he know I lead an awful, awful life.

In all seriousness, though, I'm bummed I didn't know about this before I locked in for the road trip out to Indy on the premise of "because". I will hopefully be at the one after, though, and good luck to everybody that goes!

There really ain't no party like a Nick Coss party. The smell of your BBQ will haunt me from states away.

Anyone going from NYC? I am looking for a ride. me and JP rode with Tom Dixon to NJ for the previous $2k Nick Coss party, but as he's going to GenCon we're looking for seats heading that way next Sunday.

We're obv willing to pitch for gas & tolls, as well as rocking deodorant and pleasant conversation.

another option, if there's anyone else out there also looking for a ride without access to  a car, is I can rent one for the day at $120 (gas included) - would just want to chop that up amongst everyone in the car. I am even willing to eat the lions share of that tab just to be able to get out there and play some more vintage.

so anyone interested in hooking us up either way - please let me know!

This event is less than a week away!  Who's going to win it?  What new M14 cards do you think will make an effect on Sunday's metagame?

Keep in mind, for those of you driving from far away, that I-76 and I-95 still have traffic on Sundays.  Please plan your trip accordingly.  If you feel as though you won't be arriving on time, we will happily pair you against others in your car so that we may begin play at noon.  Honestly, noon means 12:15-12:30, but if you shoot for an 11:45 arrival then I'm sure you'll be fine. Smile

Looks like there will be a sizable crowd from New York. I'll see you all tomorrow.

If you're on the fence about going or need a deck (and I know you personally), talk to me, I have extra decks.
