Curse of the Swine, XUU
Sorcery
Exile X target creatures. For each creature exiled this way, its controller puts a 2/2 green Boar creature token onto the battlefield.
http://forums.mtgsalvation.com/showthread.php?t=534404I am surprised this is not getting more attention than it is. In Standard, maybe boardwiping into a bunch of 2/2s is not important. In Legacy merfolk, this seems like a bona fide bomb, plugging a hole in that archetype in a big way. In Vintage, it answers Blightsteel (which is important for removal) and is essentially a Blue Wrath because most creatures are played for their abilities, not their butts. Those who are played for butts have big butts, and cannot lie. This might be a tad on the expensive side (mana wise) for Vintage, but a boardwipe in mono blue makes me very, very interested.
Glad I picked up some Back to Basics last month!
