Here are links to the video coverage for our 2013-12-7 Sanctioned Vintage.

I'd like to thank Dave at Scholars for making these possible.  His tireless support for Vintage has given the community a place to play for years.  We're happy to be bringing back Saturday Sanctioned Vintage, and we're looking forward to continuing to provide the community with the best events possible.

We've partnered with the End Step to bring you coverage of all our Sanctioned Events.  Enjoy the matches below.  I really appreciate all the feedback on these, and we'll continue to improve as we do what we can to grow the format.  Anyone who knows how to embed these videos, instead of linking, hit me up.

You can view them all on the End Step's Page here, or below individually on Youtube.

Man I love having matches on camera...cause I always find things that I could have done better.  Now I need to figure out a way to record all of my matches.

Watching Terence's playing here really hurt my eyes, bad plays after bad plays. For a sec, I thought somebody video-ed me!

I really love watching these coverages. Very good!

I can let Terry speak for himself, but as someone who has played many games against him, I think the fact that this was his first time on camera may have contributed to some of those plays.  He is generally a pretty competent opponent.

I actually had the joy of playing against Adrian's deck 6 times that day, and I was his only loss in the Swiss, but he got his revenge in the top 8. I'm actually really happy that despite sitting across from such an awesome brew I was still able to surprise the commentators with my Animate Dead sideboard tech.

The Animate dead was actually pretty cool tech against him, but in reality it was in the board against Dredge decks running things like Elesh Norn and other Dread Return targets. Additionally it could bring back my Battleball if I discarded to a Thirst. It's also not terrible in random match ups where you can grab a Snapcaster or any number of things to do all kinds of tricks.

Additionally, the Chain Lightning was because I couldn't find another Lightning Bolt, though I can see the merits of it in some kind of Burning Wish control deck, since you can Wish for it as well as board it in for games 2-3.

Back from my holiday break...  I will attempt to speak for myself, but most everything is accurate.  This was my first time being on a feature match (filmed or otherwise), for any format.  I made a lot of mistakes both with the tutors (I mess up Merchant Scroll and Mystical more than I should admit) and with the Yag Will turn.  I am still looking to get better at this format, and am grateful to these opportunities to learn more from the experiences and mistakes.  Most of the time feeling like a big idiot once is enough to correct the mistake going forward, and I hope this is one of those times.
