Was a super fun tourny.  thanks for running it, Ray.
Congrats to the top 8

On another note, Kelly's deck is mind bending.     My game three vs him ended with Grisselbrand, Sphynx of the steel wind, magus of the moat, and magus of the future on his side of the table.  : O

Updated Steel City Vault in the finals?  Love it.

If Hurks and Misdirections weren't infinite $ online I would definitely give that deck a twirl, it looks hella fun to play.

Bingo was INSANELY CLOSE.

1.) No one had a bingo.
2.) A whole bunch of people had 10 of the 16 names in the top 16.
3.) I checked to see who had the 17th seed on there card as a tiebreaker.  This still didn't narrow it down to 1 person.
4.) I checked to see who had the 18th seed on there card as a tiebreaker.  This still didn't narrow it down to 1 person.
5.) I checked to see who had the 19th seed on there card as a tiebreaker.  This still didn't narrow it down to 1 person.
6.) I checked to see who had the 20th seed on there card as a tiebreaker.  This still didn't narrow it down to 1 person.
7.) I checked to see who had the 21st seed on there card as a tiebreaker.  This still didn't narrow it down to 1 person.
8.) I checked to see who had the 22nd seed on there card as a tiebreaker.  This still didn't narrow it down to 1 person.
9.) I checked to see who had the 23rd seed on there card as a tiebreaker.  This still didn't narrow it down to 1 person.
10.) I checked to see who had the 24th seed on there card as a tiebreaker.

And for picking Josh Meckes...Greg Fenton is our TMD Open Bingo winner!

UPDATE:

Correction to the winner of Waterbury Bingo.

It was pointed out to me that the thread says the tiebreaker will be the relative position of the correct guesses WITHIN the top 16.  For that reason, the winner came down to Mr. Grim and wmagzoo7.  Neither identified 5-9th place but by including Vasu on his board, Mr. Grim is our official winner.

Sorry for the confusion.

To sweeten the pot ever so slightly, I'm also willing to hook Mr. Grim up with a custom title of his choosing. I'm still rocking my "Master of Divination" title from my Waterbury Bingo win. PM the title you'd like Mr. Grim.

Wait a second!! I did have Dave Kaplan on my bingo card who got 9th place... Doesn't that mean that I actually won?

But what about the who posted first rule? Lol. Does it count after top 8 or top 16. Man , vintage bingo is hard!

Who know it would be so complicated? I think that who posted first matters if we have the exact same picks essentially with regard to picking all the same people who Top16d.

Quote
In the event of a tie for the most bingos, the winner will be the person with the most overall correct guesses.  The last tiebreaker will be placement of those players (for example correctly guessing the winner will hold more weight then guessing the second place finisher and so on).  If placement doesn't break ties (i.e. two people posted the same grid), then the final tiebreaker will favor whoever posted first.

Holy, heck...This is complicated...also I am blind.

Wmagzoo7 did have Dave Kaplan and Grim didn't.

So until I realize another mistake I made, Wmagzoo7 is the winner!
