In continuing our #GiftsWeek series, I briefly wrote about the most fun deck I've played in Vintage in years - Gifts Rector Omniscience.

http://www.eternalcentral.com/giftsweek-gifts-rector-omniscience/

Check it out and let us know what you think. The deck is strong, and a blast to play, if you hate doing fair things in Magic. There are lots of ways to customize and tweak this list. What are you waiting for?

This seems awesome. Chaining Gifts is probably the best feeling ever. I'm loving this unrestriction, so many sweet deck ideas!

That seems like a really fun deck.  I will have to get the pieces together on MTGO and take a few spins with it.

Have you thought about Praetor's Counsel? Under Omniscience it's a Yawgmoth's Will that punches through Grafdigger's Cage. Maybe it's too cute, but this is probably the only deck that could ever play it.

I could imagine that a Burning Wish version of the deck could make it viable, but maybe that's unnecessary.

I can't say I've ever thought about Praetor's Counsel. If I have Omniscience in play I'm just finding Emrakul and killing my opponent usually.

I have tried Burning Wish briefly, but it is very tough on the manabase. It basically just wins automatically with Omniscience in play (just Wish for Enter the Infinite), but you typically want to have a better manabase than more tricks in here it seems.

Haha, thanks Rich. For me, this is the most fun deck in Vintage right now, and probably my second favorite Vintage deck of all time (only behind TnT, which I will be bringing back into the limelight at some point).

If you want many different lines of play than most Vintage decks offer, this is the deck to play. How many other decks play Cabal Therapy and Academy Rector, let alone Omniscience and Flash, let alone Emrakul?

I cannot imagine anybody who has seriously tested this deck would agree that Flash should/could be unrestricted. Not that this deck relies on it, but it is the best card in the deck by far. 4 would just be bananas.
