37 players attended the February edition of the LCV held in Barcelona. There was a feeling of expectation in the air for the adaptation of the LCV to the new B&R and meta (both IRL and online) and the impact of VSL decklists which had been published early in the week.
As always, broken things happened and everyone had a really great time
While waiting for everything to start we saw GWB vs. Oath with a broken answer to everyone´s favourite black demon:
We even saw superbroken starts folded by even more broken starts:
It´s not called The Answer for nothing
And Remora Gush mirrors with lots of great cards ranging from Beta P9 to FBB duals.
Javier David (who top8ed once again with MUD) gave an absolute Master Class playing Ghosts'n Goblins that left everyone amazed
On round 5, only the first table can ID: Miquel Alcoriza (UW Mentor Control) and Guillem Ragull (Gifts Talrand Gush).
After 5 rounds of Swiss, here are the standing:
First 3 tables ID, table 4 has to play (Blanco with Grisel Oath paired down wins vs. Herrero with Grixis).
This opens up another slot for players with 12 points to access the top8 and Gerard takes advantage of this.

Despite having access to tons of Mana, Gerard died to Cobos Flying army (Dragon included):
With 1-1 on the scoreboard, Gerard had to copy a Mana Crypt just to see his Wurmcoil FOWed.
Cobos even discarded a Kataki and Serenity with 2 wincons on the table which finally defeated Gerard.

Miquel responded with Ancestral to an EOT Vendillion. After a war over the instant, Vendillion saw this monster hand:

Of notable mention: Miquel Alcoriza achieved a feat which had never happened before in the LCV: What his team calls TPT (The Perfect Tournament) as he did not lose a single game all day.
