I was interviewed by Gathering Magic at Champs regarding my deck (with which I finished 14th).

Love the deck, Kevin.  It's so intelligent the way the Remora allows you to get into the midgame where Mentor really shines.  Thanks for the link!

Nice interview and good explanation. Well done. Really nice production quality on the video, too!

Good video, sweet deck.
What did you loose against at Champ?
What would you change to the main or side?
No love for RIP or Priest? You were expecting Barbarian Ring/Sudden Shock of Dredge?

tribet,

- I lost to Jesse Martin on TPS. He had Library on the draw both games and I misplayed g2. [Explained in our latest show.] Also lost to runner-up Bobby Green on Grixis what my opening hand size averaged 5.5.
- I still feel really good about the 75, but it takes a lot of faith to maximize Remora.
- I played Priest in several tournaments and it's simply not good enough as plan A against Dredge. I feel good about my Oath matchup with this 75 and I wanted 6 must-answer threats for Dredge.
