if you want to pick up cheap p9, i reccomend going to grand prix's, pro-tours and ptq's and ask around. i've found atleast 4 pieces of power (beta, all real, one played) for cheap prices. infact, i'm not sure if i could get in touch with the guy i bought mine from (i don't hvae them anymore, i sold them :\ ), but i know he had a few he was looking to sell to me for roughly the same price.
that's usually the most trusted place to find p9, from someone at an event (where you can see the card in person, and inspect it) or from someone on here. i think samite healer has some extra, i'm not sure. i also heard that carl has an extra jet or pearl or something.

Have you thought of Necro, it could be a good inclusion, instead of one of the arenas.
I know a guy here tried to run arena in his 1.5 sui-black, and it wasn't that great, probably because he was trying to come up with an answer for a change for necro from his t1 build.

kl0wn.. its people like you that push other players out of the game. they are tired of having their opponents be dicks about that type of stuff.
Yes, I have won a few matches at PTQ's because my opponents were being unsportsmanlike, multiple times in the match (even as far as calling me names, and talking loudly and rudly.)
You can do whatever you want to call a judge over to try to give you the game win/match win, but that makes you less of a player than them, and that makes you look like shit.
So if you don't want them calling the judge over every 3 minutes, like you. And you want to look like an asshole, because he shuffled your deck (which is required by the rules to do, REGARDLESS of the format).. then so be it.
Chances are, you'll make more mistakes at the game then your opponent, who's trying to play the game and not be worried about wether you did something that could be illegal.
[Aside: Speaking as a judge, and not as a player.. I personally get offended, and upset when I get called to the same table multiple times in a short period of time. So, as a judge.. try not to do this, it just makes the judges a little more upset, especially when you call them over for stupid things.]
Did you play the aggro version? My version only runs 7 targets (4 mages 3 angels) so its a dead card too often. I assume you had negators, or even phids too
I had the phids, but not the negators.. there's a lot of sligh and stuff around here (yes, I know that sword beats sligh.. they just like to burn the crap out of the negator in response)

The sword is a very good card, if anything, I'd play it sideboard.. at the least. It's good vs the random creature matches.
This card is extremly good, and after playing (and winning) quite a few local events with it, I'd have to back it as much as possible

Yeah, I was going to try and call him out on that but then I realized that what happened was: opponent plays Meddling Mage and says some words that don't impact the game. Now he gets to respond. Had he not REB'd the Mage on the stack, the opponent would have resolved the Mage - and been able to name whatever he wanted (he would not be forced into choosing REB). Thus, you can 'bluff' with a Mage - he could have said "Smokestack" or something as he was playing it and then passed priority - making Apollyon think it was OK to let resolve - and then named REB anyway. I've never thought of Mage-bluffing like this but it's something to keep in mind (works with Therapy too). Just a little extra-game strategy. Just a little insight on this. Recently, the DCI Judge list has a very long, and very important subject on this. Technically, in judges eyes, this is illegal, and is very unsportsmanlike. You would usually recieve a game loss, quiet possibly a match loss because of the "misrepresentation" it gives your opponent. While we have no set rules on "bluffing" so to speak, we're very clear on people saying one thing and then doing something completly different (naming smokestack, then reb. or naming white with persecute, then later blue.) Its looked down apon by both players and judges. So honestly, i'd be more careful. Aside: We had the "tutor to the graveyard" problem once at a PTQ. The judge ruled that he could still search, as most people put the tutor in the graveyard before they look for the card. I personally, would have not let him search for it, as putting it in the graveyard is the last part of resolution.
