The best thing to do to nate is just bitchslap his face when he gets mouthy, it works.

I agree with JuggernautGO. I was in charge of that tournament and that was not what I told Nate. Nate needs to be more than bitchslapped.

Congrats on the win.

We had a great turnout this week. The store would like to tank the 15 players that came out to show support. The prize support was as follows.

every entrant received a free rare pullled from a pack for entering.
The last Sunday in June we will be having a Tournament for a Unlimited Berserk.
9  Vintage Community Discussion / Non-Vintage / Re: [Announcement] Dual Land Tournament at Dragon's Lair (West Springfield, MA) on: June 01, 2006, 08:13:02 am
Currently we are only gettinh 6 -7 people. As word spreads we will invrease the prize pool. The free rare is a rare pulled straight from a pack, the store keeps the commons and uncommons. If there are any foils the entrant also keeps those.
Thanks
Bill

NOTE: Before talking down about a tournament why not show up.

We are looking to run some big prize tournaments at Dragon's Lair in West Springfield, MA soon and would like to know what kind of prizes you would like to see put up. These would be like the Tournaments at other stores in the area (Beanie Excahnge, Myriad Games etc). Any suggestions would be appreciated. These Tournaments would be on Sundays.

Thanks,
Bill

We will be allowing 5 Proxies. As the tournament progresses we will re-exam this option to possibly allow more, but I do not see us reducing the amount of Proxies.
Thank You,
Bill

25  Vintage Community Discussion / General Community Discussion / Re: For Proxies, should SCG allow people to print a slip of paper in sleeve? on: December 26, 2005, 07:00:16 am
I definitely feel that some sort of paper should be inserted into the card like the sticker. I see too many players playing with a card that is written on with marker and you have no idea what the hell it is or does because he has no oracle  text because their was no room to jot down the oracle text.

26  Eternal Formats / Miscellaneous / Re: The Many Faces of Control Slaver on: December 18, 2005, 07:36:18 am
The build I run uses 2 Mindslavers, 2 Staff of Dominations as well as Defense Grids. Due to Proxy restrictions I use the over F.O.W. and Mana Drains. I have seen my deck walk over Gifts and Stax within the first 3 turns. I also run 3 rack and ruin to overcome an early game Nul Rod or Cursed Totem which all but shuts down Slaver.
Welcome to TMD! Forum rules are here: http://www.themanadrain.com/forums/index.php?topic=18027.0

Discussion of a Slaver deck that somehow does not run Drains or Forces belongs in the Vintage Improvement forum.
