Does anybody in Boston play Type 1?  I've been here for a few years now, and the only action I hear about is in western MA.  If anybody is in Boston and wants somebody to play, drop me a pm.

Yeah, the scene in Boston is lacking, but if you can drive there are usually plenty of tourneys at a reasonable distance.

about 1/2 hour or so north of boston (I'm talking about 1/2 hour from the expo center area in boston) is Myriad Games in Salem, NH. They just had a Type 1 tournament, and they usually have one every two or three months

Congrats to the winners, but as we all know, everyone who went to this tournament was a winner

Somerville has Your Move Games, though I admit I have little experience with that one. 45 minutes south, you'll find another Your Move in Providence with a pretty good type 1 scene.

I've actually been to a tournament at Myriad.  It's a great store.  My problem is a lack of wheels to get to NH.  I have to take the train to get around most of the time.

I've been to Your Move Games (somerville) once, as well.  Unfortunately it is like most stores are nowadays...packed with nothing but Type 2 and block (and 8 million small children).
