Dream Car?

I thought this would be a fun discussion. So I decided to post it and see if anyone will actually answer this post or let it fall away in the dust. Hopefully you'll all share your dream cars. If anyone has pics of them that would be great. Oh and for all the ones who have their Dream Car. Retire from Magic already! Enjoy

Oh ya. My Dream Car. Well, it's really hard to decide actually. Personally, I'd want a Campagna T-rex. But those are really just bikes with an extra wheel and a cage around it. Nothing really new about. Still rather exciting. 12 month warranty too. Handles the road great though. I'll try to find some pics and edit this when I get the chance. Although, if I wanted a car to have major music inside. I'd probably have to say my Dad's 96 Camaro Z28 Convertible. Blue Chrome paintjob. Of course, I'd have to input the entire sound system and probably change most of the engine for better performance. I'll try to find a pic, but I haven't had any luck yet.
If none of those are available however. I'd have to say I'd build myself a roadster, they're amazing and sweet to look at to.

When I was a kid, my dream car was a 1969-1970 Jaguar E-Type, preferably a green one.

Then, though, I got my car... I got the car.



Please note, this is not my exact car, but this is the closest picture I could find. I've got a 1985 Buick LeSabre Estate Wagon (the one pictured above is an '86). It's a sort of off-white and it has wood panels on the sides.

How much would a dream machine like that set someone back?

I bought it for $100. Then I drove it from Massachusetts to California.

It had less than 100,000 miles on it when I bought it back in April (now it's at about 102,000), it has purple tinted windows (excluding the front two), and I got a CD-player installed, so it basically rules.

I have always wanted a 2000 Mustang GT.  It had to be Jungle Green and automatic with a V6 engine.  Or if I was really going crazy it would be the 2000 Lamborghini Diablo VT Roadster Millenium.  (Sweetest looking car in existance.)

My wife and I own a 1987 Plymouth Sundance 4-door hatchback. The paint is fading, the headliner is falling down, and as soon as I've got about 5000 bucks (and some spare time), it's going to be an amazing 12.0 second  turbocharged grocery-getting autocross sleeper.

Seriously, how could you not love a little turbocar with a simple modification that makes the engine computer flashable? Like, plug your laptop into the port in the glovebox and change your air/fuel ratio?

I used to think that I wanted a Porsche when I got older. Then my friend's dad got a BMW and thus they were selling off their old Volvo and my mind was instantly changed. The Beast was mine.

The 1984 Volvo 240. Automatic Transmission, White with creeping rust around the rear tires. Broken sunroof (doesn't fully close). 175,000 miles. Torn leather interior. You have to use a coat hanger to open the hood.

On the plus side, it has a CD player in it and it runs really smoothly despite the appearance. Im totally driving this car forever.

I already own one of my dream cars.

I own a 1979 Pontiac Trans Am. 6.6 liter engine. T-tops. Currently an automatic, but it will be made a manual as soon as possible.




Manual transmission, higher rear axle gearing, and paint (white with blue trim) are all upcoming, for this car.

I also currently own a 98 Chevy Lumina and an 87 Mazda Rx-7...I've been trying to get rid of the Rx-7 for months. =(

I bit later in life I think I may also want to pick up one or two more of these babies. After I finish pimping this car out, I'd like to find a good 1970 Firebird Formula that needs a home, and drop in a 1969 Cadillac 472ci engine--that's 375 horses and 525 lb-ft of torque.

Btw: To whoever said they wanted that lame Porsche: that's a shitload of money for only that speed. If you're going to blow that kind of cash, you might as well get a Lambo or Ferrari.

Either a Volvo S60 R for the next few years or a Volvo P1800 for my lifetime.

I've driven an S60R on the track...unfortunately it doesn't handle anywhere near what I expected. While it is more luxurious than an Evo or Sti, it's a worse ride...you're better off sepnding a bit more and getting an M3.
