I've got nothing on right now, but the last song I downloaded was Cheap Sunglasses (ZZ Top) and the last album I heard was Ragnarok by Gwar.

"Woman" by Wolfmother.

Easily the best new band out there right now. A bunch of young Australian dudes who play rock like we were still in the 70s. I'm talking a mix between Led Zeppelin, Deep Purpe and Jimi here. Now oil me up and call me Tex, but their debut album actually manages to hold their own against any of these.

I just found out about the Swedish guy Basshunter who sings about sitting in Vent and owning in DotA from that Tourney Report with pics, Mox Madness, and have fell in love with the song. It's been playing along with Static X's Wisconsin Death Trip and Ludacris- Release Therapy albums.

For the record, the new Lupe Fiasco CD is really, and I mean really good.

Nice.  They have the 70s era sound to them with a splash of modern pop and razor sharp rock.  It's great.  I'm not sure that they're as technically skilled as those other proven bands, but yea Tex, get out the oil.

I'm listening to Ghost by Neutral Milk Hotel off the In The Aeroplane Over The Sea album.

I just keep coming back to that album, and lately, that song. I just cannot get over how heartcrushingly beautiful the song is.

Well, there's nothing going through my computer speakers currently but I am holding a Dying Fetus CD in my hands (Stop at Nothing) that will shortly be played in my car stereo on my way to work in eight minutes.  Ahh, bliss!

I am listening to Things Falling Apart, by Nine Inch Nails. One of my favorite CD's. I just have to take a second to get off topic to say that I went to the ROCK N SHOCK tour last week in Worcester to see GWAR! It was the sickest. nothing beats leaving a show covered with blood! I think I am going to play Gwar now...so I guess its on topic?

The dutch own commercial fluffy trance.  They keep it in their pockets.  Check the lint filter in your dryer.  Now if only people didn't go unreasonably bonkers over Tiesto, his cheese level might not bother me so much.

LOL. I'd no idea TMD folk were so intimately familiar with Dutch music from the early nineties. Charlie Lownoise & Mental Theo for the win! Oh, how we have damaged the ears of the world.

Wikipedia. Lots of bored time in the wee hours of the morning. You want to know about any famous transportation accidents or plane crashes? I also blame the music soundtracks I listen to for making me investigate what 'genre' they were putting music under. I honestly thought they were making this shit up, "Gabba? what the fuck is that?".

Whatever, at least it isn't Hyphy.

HHC is a bit of a guilty pleasure.  I know it's awful, but sometimes it's just fun.  Hulla style stuff, being from toronto (despite my minor irritation with anabolic frolic).  The twisted comment was a pun about Posford's (Hallucinogen, plus a member of countless collaberation projects) record label of the same name

Mainly I listen to DnB, but also quite a bit of psytrance.  Electronica wise anyway.

edit: oh yeah.  Amon Amarth: Once Sealed In Blood

double edit:  gabber is obnoxious.  Almost as bad as booty.
