I'm not sure I've ever found a correlation between play styles and music genres. If listening to a certain band can change your tempo, however, more power to you.

Sahara Hotnights- A perfect Mess
Böhse Onkelz- Keine Zeit
Dead Kennedys- At my Job (one of the most awesome songs ever)
edit: always good: "Pushed again" by "Die Toten Hosen" edit 2: Böhse Onkelz- "Kirche". Who doesn't fear the devil, doesn't need a god . Quoting "The Name of the Rose" is tech.

Carbon 15's, A.K.'s & Mac 11's - Boyz N Da Hood
Check out the Dynamite Hack version of this song if you haven't heard it yet. It's surprising. I listened to Nas' new album a bit and it isn't sticking with me really at all. I think his return is overhyped. I've been really enjoying RATATAT's Remix Mixtapes Volume 1, which is them doing backbeats for a lot of radio-hiphop. The track Run by Ghostface Killah and Jadakiss is craaaaazy. If you're into hiphop or ambient electronic music, check this out, seriously. Hell, if you're into electronic music, check out RATATAT anyway.
