I tried explaining Nightmare Tricks to somebody who was not only rather ignorant, but who didn't speak very good English. He insisted that he could cast his interrupt (Diabolic Edict) before the CIP ability went on the stack, targetting the creature he wanted me to sacrifice, thereby rendering the Nightmare Trick inoperable. When I wouldn't budge, he suggested I read the rules, since I clearly had no idea how the game was played, called me a motherfucker, then left.

You think that's funny. I played with a certain individual who was interested in a "Serious Type 1" game. I started to play and he then proceeded to drop one of each of the five moxen plus a Black Lotus. He unloads his entire hand and instead of casting something worthwhile, plop! Living Wall. When I saw that first turn play I was like umm, ok, maybe this is some combo deck that I've never heard of before. The whole first game was him casting artifact wall after artifact wall. I then layed the beatdown with an Exalted Angel and won. For the second game, this is where it gets interesting folks, he again unloads his hand with moxen. I then notice he played two Mox Jet. I said 'hold up', How many of each mox are you playing', I asked. He then replied, 'Four of each'. I then explained to him that moxen are restricted. He then like a wild animal makes a 'Grrrr' sound, which he had been making throughout the entire game due to his blunders, and five minutes after that I quit after complete silence from him. One of the funniest Magic experiences I've ever had.

I can't count the number of times I've had a 5+ minute argument on MWS over the legality of using a Wasteland on their duals.

Not too long ago, I was bored and joined a game titled "T1 no p9."  I FoW'ed something, at which point he promptly disconnected, because FoW is obviously a piece of the power 9.

My favorite MWS opponent of all time is still the one that told me I was going to hell because I played evil cards like demonic tutor and yawgmoth's will, while he played good cards like wrath of god.

Wowzers I use MWS all the time. I actually remember running into quite a few of you, but on with the funniest stories...

I'm playing this guy. I cast Mindslaver. Tell him to tap out his lands, "NO, YOU CAN'T MANABURN." I explain to him that I'm not saying that he's losing life, just that his lands are tapped. "NO, YOU CAN'T." We go back and forth for a while. Finally he just leaves.

I'm playing with FCG. I cast Wooded Foothills. Use it to search for a Taiga, "NO, FOOTHILLS CAN ONLY FIND A FOREST OR MOUNTAIN." I explain that Taiga counts as a Forest and Mountain. "IT SAYS EITHER A MOUNTAIN OR FOREST, NOT BOTH." <System> Player Lost.

The last on is just pure idiocy. I'm play the Sligh Noob. Everytime I cast a spell that will go to my graveyard, he takes control of it, and then sacrifices it. Then, I go crazy with some incredible play, I think it was like Yawgmoth's Will, Lotus, Tutor, Walk, Recall. So he then goes on a random n00b rampage of like taking control of my cards and drawing his deck. He then procedes to type random letters and leave.

Oh and I hate morons that say "No netdecks." I was playing with my utterly horrible OathLong a while back, owned this guy that said that, and he said, "I can take a deck from the internet and make it good too."

I'd never used mwsplay until I started reading this thread; I was a bit curious if these kinds of people actually exist. Anyways, in just over an hour of play, strange things happened. I was playing T1 Tog and often, way before I was able to win, people just say "STFU" and leave... but my favourite thing that has happened to me thus far is this:
