That guy "Vintage" that told Smmenen he was "banned" just said the same thing to me, except his name is "Sift" now. I cracked a fetch, left plenty of time for him to respond, searched my library and he just went "????, cheating", said I was banned and left the game. I was even using phases like he asked  . |

Sift has some serious control issues. Making the arrows really pisses him off. Posting smileys when he has control fits also eggs him on a bit.
So I say play him, but push his buttons a little bit. And I know this means I have no life, but I like to start a game, but reconnect to MWS so I can keep joining his created games. He doesn't accept, but noone else comes in.

I too ran into Sephiroth; he is indeed still an ass. A player named "Sift" I did not care for. Basically flipped out with "ZOMG U R CHEATIN" when it was fairly obvious that I has misclicked somewhere on MWS's abomination of an interface.  I was playing Manaless Ichorid; that's a pain to go through all the motions properly. |

How so? Anyway, I was playing against joshua (or something similar) He won the die roll, went Mana Crypt, Myr Servitor, Pithing Needle. I asked him what he Needled, said nothing for several seconds, and then I saw "<System> Player Lost" If I got the message right after I asked, I would have been more inclined to think 'disconnect' |

Finally had the chance to meet the famous Sephiroth. We played 5 games, he played Long and he actually did well with it. I had a good time and he commented on some cards and told me I Necro'd like a pussy when I decided on 9 or 10 cards.
When you ignore the noob remarks and start asking him personal questions he takes a long time to answer them. I took my sweet time and waited patiently.
When he almost started to get ''nice'' he would go back to insulting me and he called me a fag and said I talked like a girl..?
Then I said I talked like that because I'm hot, and asked him out xD. He waited for like 2 minutes to find a response and it was: No, fag
Then we went on to play like 2 more games and he kinda stopped insulting me, instead promoting himself.
Sure, I like the normal games better but I wouldn't mind running into this guy some more, I had a good laugh. I'm sad he didn't create noob tokens =(

It's sad because the Guy is nothing but nice to me when I played as 13NoVa, and when I play as M.Solymossy. For awhile, we would discuss things on AIM and actually test on there, and I never experienced the bad side of him.

In that case, Fowler=Sephiroth, because when I first started as "player" fowler made noobs tokens at me Well, anyway, last night must have been special, because I was Fowler's noob of the year for playing bomberman, and Sift banned me. I started turn 1 and went off, playing a land, and casting a mox, tapped for a sol ring and tapped that for a time vault. By no means was I playing fast, as I was leaving a few seconds in between each spell for him to say "WAIT!" or throw a force out there. So after all this had happened, I ended my turn, to which he said "Play correctly or get out of my game" I asked what he meant, and he said mox is on the stack, and that I'm 10 seconds away from being banned. I played along and put all my cards back into my hand. I played the land........no responce. I play the mox................. waiting for him..................I ask "Is the mox ok?" I was then abbruptly banned |

I have played against this mws horrow before, I was playing stifle naught, since I was going first I was able to pull off a first naught and he promptly told me that my deck sucked blah blah blah. I told him that I wasn't dealing with his crap and he called me a noob all the way until I left.

I find this arrogance and douchebaggery much more with the vintage players than I do when I play legacy.
Is there a reason why vintage players are jerks???
I mean, you do get the occasional peice of crap when playing legacy, but with vintage, it seems like a 50-50 shot

I was playing against someone a couple weeks ago who insisted that I click "Ok?" after I did anything using the stack, and was really obnoxious about it. I would play a spell and wait for him to respond, he would write "waiting...10 9 8 7 6" etc., "holy crap 6 seconds!" if I didn't ask "Ok?" quickly enough. He also called me a cheater on many occasions. Is it likely that this was Sift?
