I go first and play Shop + Sphere + Chalice for 0 (Paying the one for sphere).

He responds: "Lol! noob! Shop not competitive any more1" "Go play a real deck!"

For the record, I resolved my SB Abunis vs LSV and he scooped next turn.

Sure, I had uber staxy shit out vs him, AND he Turn 1 Killed me G3, but still I got Abunis Kill vs LSV. Top4or8.

It's good versus everything but Hurkyls/Rebuild . (except that those two are in most blue decks...)

On Affliction, yeah, I gave him/it it's one chance to not be a douche, and it failed. Avoid.

So I was playing affliction the other night.  I was playing MRSA, and I win the coin flip.  I go shop-> sol ring-> moxen-> thorn-> sphere pass.  He announces "fuck the luck" and is playing first.  He is playing ad nauseum.  He then proceeds to try to go off turn 1 by playing through my thorn/sphere (by ignoring them), and somehow punts the game.  He then makes me a newb token that's a 9/9, to which I ask if that's as high as he can count.  He replies "nothing in the real world is needed higher than 9, tendrils with storm 9 will kill you".  I ask him what he does for a job, and he replies he is a banker.  Just plain lolz.

I have Time Vault/Voltaic Key combo on the table, but he's got pithing needle naming vault on the table. He's got two psychatogs that he's been slowly beating me down with. I drew Echoing Truth, and had force of will in hand, but not another blue card to provide counter backup. I let him take another turn since his hand and graveyard aren't even close to 'tog's lethal range and draw the blue card for FoW the following turn. Note that I'm extremely proud of myself for not just running the E. Truth out there and being patient enough to wait for the blue card for the counter backup.

I have been playing on MWS for several years and seen some strange things, have been insulted many times, but what happened this evening was really absurd, flabbergasting and bizar.

It's a MWS game and I am playing MUD. First my opponent  takes 7 mulligans in a row, then draws a new hand of 7 without any comments. Strange, but I don't really mind. I have won the toss and start out with a mox, sol ring, sphere and a land. As I pass the turn he remarks "good, another deck I can easily beat". I ignore it, and he plays a land and passes. I draw a workshop, and play it to cast a memory jar for 6, and pass. He plays another land and passes.

Then it happens. In my turn I activate jar, and while he draws a new hand he suddenly says: "you didn't have enough mana for memory jar. Game loss for you. 1-0." I ask him why. He says because I only had 5 mana. I say: "well, this argument  is easily resolved, let's just look back in the blog ok?" And I look up the blog, and quote to him the relevant sentences:

Me taps Mishra's Workshop
Me taps Sol Ring
Me taps Mox Pearl
Me plays Memory Jar from Hand.

But even with the quote right there in his face, he starts screaming that I didn't have 6 mana. He calls me a cheater, starts cursing, etc. at which point I draw the line and quit.

Nice to see that there is a place to ventilate your frustations, I'll save blogs from now on.

Avoid lemanders as well.
It's game 1 and he starts of telling me that he hopes I'm not ElfBall since I already crush him, so I ask him if we play the same format since I don't want to go to all the trouble to play against an Extended player. I'm on the play and start off with a mulligan to 6 with Sol Ring, Workshop, Chalice, Thorn of Amethyst, Magus and Welder, definately not ideal but I didn't think a 5 card hand would be much better. He mulls as well and has FoW for my Thorn, I pass the turn he lays Island. I draw another red card and he EOT Ancestralls himself. On his turn he uses Brainstorm and lays another land and a Welder, on my turn I draw another red card and pass the turn. He plays another land and I draw Solemn on my turn which I play, he obviously has the Drain and plays Tezzeret on his turn.
Then the following conversation takes place:

So I'm pretty much pissed off at that point as I obviously want another shot. The next game could never go as badly as this game went as I was pretty much forced to keep a less than ideal 6 card hand after drawing 0 manasources in my initial 7 and he just had the nuts. He had everything, there was nothing I could have done, it's not like I played bad or my deck is terrible, he just outdrew me. I feel insulted and hope you guys will avoid this person.

I don't follow.  If he had called you names and insulted your mother and so on and so forth, I can see it.  The fact that he only played one game against you (he even typed the word "Thanks") is a problem?  Seriously.  So you lost, that doesn't mean no one should want to play against the guy.
