Opponent = Dirk Diggler

So I didn't save the log, but this made me laugh:

I win the roll.
Shuffle up.
Both keep.
My opener is (usea, mox pearl, duress, dtutor, ancestral, FoW, rebuild)
I play Usea, Duress and see:  Gifts, thoughtsieze, petal, sol ring, land, key, mox.
I take the thoughtsieze (with a plan of of FoWing his first turn gifts and then ancestral targeting myself, then Dtutor.)

I draw an arrow to thoughtsieze, but he immediately puts Gifts to graveyard.

I say, "no."

He puts Gifts back to the table and draws an arrow to my Duress.

I say, "I want the thoughtsieze."

Player Lost.

I then find his game and add "??????" to my join note.

He then puts in his join note, "You're bad."

I attempt to type sentences by refreshing my join note to explain why I played the way that I did.

He continues by adding, "even worse."

Very funny. I was playing a Confidant-Trinket-Stifle-Dreadnought build. After losing the first match against Staxx, I played Hurkyls Recall end of turn in the second bouncing all his Chalices and then proceeded to make a big turn. Avalanche is me.

Avalanche plays Underground Sea from Hand
Avalanche taps Island
Avalanche taps Mox Emerald
Avalanche plays Time Vault from Hand
Avalanche taps Underground Sea
Avalanche taps Swamp
Avalanche plays Demonic Tutor from Hand
Avalanche puts Demonic Tutor to Graveyard from Play
Avalanche is looking its Library...
Avalanche puts card to Hand from Library
Avalanche shuffles library
Avalanche stops looking its Library...
Avalanche taps Island
Avalanche plays Voltaic Key from Hand
Avalanche taps Time Vault
<CANCER> U CHANGE DECK MAN?
Avalanche plays Engineered Explosives from Hand
<Avalanche> no
<Avalanche> End my turn
<CANCER> NOOB NO IDIOT PLAY SERIUS
<Avalanche> bla
<System> Player Lost

So for not finding and playing out Vault-Key in the first match I got seriously blamed. He obviously couldn't imagine that Vault-Key could also fit in a Stifle/Wasteland deck. Welcome in a world where other than net decks exist.

If you can take a step back from the situation that is actually pretty hilarious. (Not to say his name doesn't belong on the list of people to avoid, as it obviously does).

If you can take a step back from the situation that is actually pretty hilarious. (Not to say his name doesn't belong on the list of people to avoid, as it obviously does).

Yeah man, that made my day.   Hilarious.  It was so random

I was playing TPS vs some GW deck.  At EOT, I Mystical planning to get minds desire, and as I do, my opponent asks me not to get ancestral.  I ask why, and he states that its "too easy".  WTF?

So I humor the pain in the ass, and get Minds Desire and desire his ass for 8.  hehehe

Seriously though, this guy's name is Marquito, and he plays GW aggro, but not with good creautres, like, birds of paradise and monstrous growth, and keeps joining vintage games.

Nah, I had played him before and won immediatly after tutoring and playing ancestral.  He really thought he could influence my selection.  It was also turn the end of turn 1, and i only had 1 land out, so a-call was a much more predictable play.

Okay, I am sorry if this has been said before but let me assert the following: do not ever accept games from someone with a sn like "123" or "abc" or the ubiquitous "Player," the ultimate sign of desired anonymity.  Because the following will happen to you invariably:

<Player> EOT
Player taps Seaside Citadel
Player taps Magosi, the Waterveil
Magosi, the Waterveil now has 1 (+1) counters.
It is now turn 21 (Player)
It is now the Beginning Phase, Untap Step
It is now the Beginning Phase, Upkeep Step
Player untaps his/her permanents
It is now the Beginning Phase, Draw Step
Player draws a card
It is now the Precombat Main Phase
<Player> Thinking
Player taps Hallowed Fountain
Player taps Savannah
Player taps Sungrass Prairie
Player taps Mystic Gate
Player duplicates Rafiq of the Many
Rafiq of the Many now has 1 (+1) counters.
<Player> Ok?
<Mr. Fantastic> how did magosi get a counter?
<Player> pay  a blue mana
<System> Player Lost
<Mr. Fantastic> you're skipping your turn after this one?

In other words, dude thought he could get away with cheating with the EOT nonsense.  I guess if you're gonna try to cheat, that is the best time to try to slip some shenanigans in.  Neutral

Well, Sephiroth has hit an all-time low

Made 2 MWS games, 1 as Sephiroth, and 1 as Jake the Snake.  When I saw both joined, I picked Jake, and proceeded to play.  I knew immediatly it was him when "Jake" began asking why I didn't pick Sephiroth as "he's the best play on MWS" (the crappy Grim Long build also gave it away).  We play a match, and I take it in 2 (despite him peeking at the top card of his deck during my turn), and then ALL HELL BREAKS LOOSE.

Sephiroth bombards the new game I set up, with annoying join tags, until I accidently press "accept"  Then, I figure since I'm already here, might as well play a game.  I tinker in Sphinx turn 1, and by turn 2, my life is at 24, and he cant storm that high, as I provide just enough disruption to get there.  He then proceeds to make a TINKER TOKEN and tried to pass if off as the real thing. LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

Got to love the ranting of a mad man

I'm so glad that this board exists to share absurd stories on.

I'm playing with Mystic Remora in my deck. My opponent opens with a blue Fetchland and passes. I play an Island, a Mana Crypt, and then play Remora.

The more I play the more I realize there are different types of cheaters.  The worst may be the type that will just randomly draw extra cards before/during/after shuffle effects or other things that involve a long process of cards going in and out of play, especially near the end of turns.  Occasionally a more blatant attempt is made to cheat, during the main phase even. Case in point.

Kneth untaps Explorer's Scope
Explorer's Scope is enchanting Scute Mob now
Kneth untaps Scute Mob
Kneth plays Naya Panorama from Hand
Kneth taps Forest
Kneth taps Naya Panorama
Kneth puts Naya Panorama to Graveyard from Play
Kneth draws a card
Kneth puts a card on top of Library from Hand
Kneth is looking top 51 cards of its Biblioteca...
Kneth draws a card
Kneth puts Forest into play from Library
Kneth stops looking its Biblioteca...

If this happened once I would assume he was hitting "CTRL+D" instead of "CTRL+S" but he kept doing this over and over again? What is this? I don't even

dido is looking library
dido puts card to hand from library
dido puts card on top of library from hand

Just point the player in the direction of the "undo last draw" option in the menus.  If they are honest, they'll start making an effort to use it to fix accidental draws.

Do not accept Legacy games from a user with the screen name "Shaun" as he now takes the cake as the most classless, annoying dipshit I've yet encountered on MWS.  Truly, a staggering feat.

I am not fond of abrupt quitters.  Further, it's a pet peeve of mine when people will beat you and then refuse to play the same decks with sideboarding (gee, I wonder why? could it be they know they're going to get smashed?).  So I humored the jerk and let him switch to a different deck for the second game after he beat me the first.  I did the same.  And upon doing so, he insta-quit me on the second turn with a "K, bye" as my Counterbalance resolved.  Utterly classless.

If this happened once I would assume he was hitting "CTRL+D" instead of "CTRL+S" but he kept doing this over and over again? What is this? I don't even

Just point the player in the direction of the "undo last draw" option in the menus.  If they are honest, they'll start making an effort to use it to fix accidental draws.

Actually, I do that a lot these days but I still sort of assume the worst when people will just silently comply without so much as a "sorry, it was an accident."  I know whenever I make a mistake I try to explain it. Confused

<System> Player Lost

So I am col impact and M. Keller, my opponent, tries to ice a fetchland. When I fetch in response I let him know that he needs to undo the draw from ice (since ice fizzles with no target). He goes on a tirade like he knows the rules solid and is schooling me. The irony of course is that he is in the wrong.

You gotta love it when someone is flat out wrong about the rules and acts like they know the rules solid. The guy quit even though I would have patiently helped him along to a better understanding of the rules.

Cory, You don't get to draw from your Ice unless your Ice resolves. You put your Ice on the stack targeting Misty Rainforest.  Opponent cracked it in response and got an Island.  The your Ice resolves, with no target and fizzles.  Sorry bro.

Dude, I was col impact. I was the one telling him that he doesn't get to draw if ice has no target upon resolution.

Let me know if there is something unclear about the events that happened in the log and I will edit it for clarity.
