What is this?

Vintage is a lovely format, it's too bad so few people can play because the supply of power is so small.

Chess really changed when they decided to stop making Queens and Bishops.  I'm just glad I got my copies before the prices went crazy.

Time Police is just my team name, so I threw that in front of the deck name.  Standard Tezz list with Glen Elendra archmage because she shits all over everything that isnt fish

4   Stefan Ellsworth - Dark Depths

I was a little out of it tonight.  I actually can't remember what the other decks were.  PM's would be appreciated.

My play of the night was only offering andy 55% for the split. What a sucker.  He forget he never looses a mana crypt roll, never has to mull, and never draws a dead card.  Fortunately, he forget all this, didn't realize his win was guaranteed, and therefore could be talked into an uneven split only slightly favoring him. What a sucker.

A key/vault control deck with some number of the new Jace, and Tezz (typically 2 to 3 Jace, 1 to 2 Tezz) often along with cards like repeal and mystic remora.  Some versions are UB, some are UBr.

I think it's safe to say

A) Bomberman is the best deck in the format

or

B) Bomberman players are the best in the format

I'll let the t1 community decide

Good to see Bomberman doing so well. Did you develop the Jimmy McCarthy list from Xtreme Games any further? Is it possible to see the decklists?

Thanks in advance.

So what did you lose to?

I lost to Bill Rosa, playing his home brew version of Tezz/Jace.  Game 1 I had no early pressure, and game 2 I failed to draw a land beyond the two I had in my opening hand, neither of which was Workshop.

To be more specific, you lost to Bill Rosa's strip mine and wasteland.  It was justice of poetic proportions.  A blue deck attacking a shops mana base.

Esper Charm? Really??  I am not totally surprised to see EE, Pithing Needle and Tormods gone from the main though, they haven't been too up to snuff lately in the main.
Logged

"After these years of arguing I've conceded that Merchant Scroll in particular can be an exception to this rule because it is a card that you NEVER want to see in multiples, under any circumstances. Merchant Scroll can be seen as restricted in a way because should you have 2 in a hand, only one is really useful (that is, only one can get Ancestral)."

instant speed card draw that pitches to force.  It can also blow up Oaths and remoras (Which are very popular at scholars).  It's even useful to make your oponent discard every now and then.  I was happy everytime I drew it, but I havent tested it enough to tell if its actually good or just cute
