Well, it's finally time. Here it is, the ICBM Xtreme Open. If you've ever met me, traded with me, bought from me, sold to me, flamed me, been flamed by me, or just plain hated me for whatever reason, you are obligated to show up. In. The venue is right outside Gurney Mills mall and Great America, which should mean there is copious lodging around. I am quite excited for this.
Also, Dan Carp with a bye? I sense a bit of nepotism there =p

I promised byes to the winners of ICBM Opens 7 and 8, and 9 when I get it set up, but otherwise I don't want to give them to all the past winners of all the other Opens and the Xtreme events, as that would mean that basically all the decent WI/IL players would have byes, which would be kind of awkward.
[edit]: Champs winners, yes. Top 8, no. Now, if you hadn't beat me and knocked me out of contention...

Consider me excited. I just looked at my work calendar and the whole month of June is straight-up blank. I was a little bit concerned there wasn't going to be too many awesome Vintage trips this summer, but no need to worry anymore.
Keep your Moxes hot, Vintage players - despite everything going on it the world this may be the best Summer yet.

I havnt been to the new xtreme store but can it support this.
I talked to Eric and he was confident we could fit at least 150 in there. I'll be there in two weeks to win a piece of power and check the place out, but I'm not worried about it. |
