If you knew anything about events run by Iron Chef, my guess is that it's in the Philadelphia area.
There ain't no party like a Nick Coss party!
Is this the next Philly Open?

There were two dates open in May - May 8th and May 29th. I had been planning on running an event on May 8th, but Mr. Coss had already scheduled the Convention Center. I won't fight him, or another local T/O for the date, and it's best if we co-operate. It meant making a sacrifice on my end.
What Nick D. said in NYSE Tournament report.

Knowing Nick I think its safe to assume this is the annual pre regionals Philly open standard plus vintage for a lotus, at the convention center in Philly.

I'm glad to see that my intended audience knows where I run tournaments. I can see how it would be confusing to someone who wasn't familiar with my other events and didn't ever look at one of the many other tournament announcements I have posted in the past few years. Thanks for your many helpful suggestions on how I could improve my thread Anusien. -Nick

D3g taking this one down is laughable, between Team Meandeck (ashok) and his t1 barns (kazhdan and I) the lotus will be enjoying the trip back to NJ in my saab

We'll see. I'm more concerned about team Gans to be honest. Also, pretty awesome as far as the Legacy Day 2, can't wait for that. I love to dust off Apes.dec whenever I can.

Oh my dear sweet baby Jesus, not only is this the awesome and fantastic Vintage tournament that is among the best in the world, but we also get a day 2 Legacy event for pure sexiness?
I can safely die a happy man on May 10th.

I have work unfortunately, but I do have sick days .....I think I may be coming down with something on this day....::cough:: ::cough:: Looks like I'm going to be "sick" quite a bit throughout May and early June! So far we have: 5/8-9: Philly Open 6 5/15: Regionals 5/22-23: GP: DC 5/29: NYSE 8 6/5-6: SCG Philly As I've stated previously I don't miss Philly Opens or NYSE events for anything. I'll be at both for sure! Regionals is Standard, a format I haven't played much lately, so I'll probably skip that. GP: DC is also Standard, but I enjoy a good road trip / mini-Magic-vacation so I'll likely be there. I can't make the Standard SCG Open because I have a wedding the day before and will likely be massively hungover, but I can make the Legacy Open on the 6th. This is gearing up to be a fun month of Magic-like activity! And did I mention I'm already 1-0 in this Vintage event as well? Sweet!

Yeah, I have no idea what's happened since I've left. When I got out of Vintage ~3 years ago, there was a vintage tournament in the Mid-Atlantic area every ~6 weeks at best. Now I'm seeing a within-distance tournament every single weekend. It's unreal..and awesome.
BTW, we should get carpooling going on for Vintage tournaments so more people can go (and pay less for travel fees).

Also Jeff and I will probably have to split this Lotus if we're going to make our annual quota.

Not that it means anything. Prospero can stomp the yard like none other. I'm shaking in my girly salsa boots. Nick C. can we make this an official side event? Anyone wanna spin the 1's and 2's for the Philly Open?
