Who plays in Pro Tours when you can just play Vintage? Win this event and I might be willing to get you a foil Japanese, miscut Fire/Ice signed by Barack Obama, Lebron James, Richard Garfield, David Martin and Franz Volwinkel. You can't win that at a Pro Tour.

Yeah, I will already be at said Pro Tour. I didn't qualify, but my flight is booked and I plan on a nice five day vacation.

Wow, there's 2 Lotuses given away in the North-East in May... What will I do with all that mana?
I'd really like to make it to this one despite the long drive. We'll see what I can do...

Despite missing the last 4 or so tournies within driving distance (and I'll have to miss Philly Open VI), I hope to be in attendance for this one.
As much as I love my signed foil Mudholes, I hope to be the one signing the mystery prize this time around.

I was going to claim this to be a little far for my tastes, but then I'm going to Puerto Rico for magic instead that weekend, so not sure that excuse entirely approppriate. Oh well, I'll keep my eyes peeled for the last of that Alpha set, Nick.

Simon: thank you. I can't tell you how much I'm fiending for an Alpha Jet right now. It's the final piece (that I play at least...)
Rob: I hope to see you there too buddy. If you take Fisher, make sure he's piloting little green men.
Paul: It's a hell of a drive, but it'd be great to see you here. Hopefully you can bring Rich along too...
We're three weeks away from what I hope will be the biggest N.Y.S.E. tournament yet. We have a bunch of new players who have been playing in the weekly tournaments; I think that our attendance is going to be stellar...

I'll make sure to keep the alcohol consumption light the night before (going to a grad party) and rock this thing.

Nick,
While I know I will be in Puerto Rico, I know that the rest of crew that I thought was going will not be. So that might be a few extra bodies for you.

Good man. I hope you're going to be piloting what 9/10 people prefer... Nick,

Everybody's welcome, and there are people that I haven't seen in a while that I would love to see. I hope to see Josh Lalo there, for starters...

I'd love to see some New Englanders come down for this, but I know they're too afraid of scrubbing out to NY/NJ/PA. I know that this Lotus is staying on the Island.

The island is a bit out of the way for people further north as you either have to go all the way around or shell an extra hundred to catch the ferry with your car.

We've had Brassman and Ray Robillard down in Philly. James Hangley and myself have gone to Feinstein's tournaments in RI and Nick Detwiler and other Long Islanders have gone to an ELD tournament. We've had players from New England at the last NYSE, I'd just like to see more of them.

I know it's not the easiest trip, but I'm glad you're looking to make it. As Austin has said, we have had guys from as far away as Massachusetts in the past. I'd like to think that we can pull that off again on the 29th. Even still, I think we're set up for a great event, as I think the local events have really garnered some more support...

I love seeing guys make the trip. If there's anything that I can do to help, let me know. I will probably run another Lotus tournament in either August or September. As soon as I have dates, I'll put it up.

Thanks for the thougt. Dates early make a big difference. To be honest, the question for me is- to pay the $400 plane ticket,(and figure out how to traverse Yankee land for the first time in my adult life) or buy a piece of power. Lodging is also an issue at times.

I'll be showing up. If I can come down from Albany, others from the NE can make it down too.
@ Mastriano- Haven't seen you at a tourny in forever! You better make it, and bring Rich along for good measure.
