Just wanted to let the people here know about a new place to build decks and play online. No downloads and no installs required (all web based), just visit http://www.gamesiplay.net. There is no charge for making accounts or playing online. Every card in the game is available and there is a growing user base for Magic and WoW:TCG. Hope to play some of you there.

Cool site. I think we just played! The game-play is a little slow, but it's a decent alternative to MWS on my mac.

Thanks for the game and I hope to play you again soon. We are still upgrading the engine and game-play should smooth out.

Wow as a mac user who doesn't have MWS i really look forward to trying this out, though i'm a little afraid it will suck up all my free time that isn't already magic based.

Mac people seem to really like our engine, since it works on Macs. =)

Seems like a really cool concept.  Hate to be the downer, but how are you planning on skirting the legality issue of IP infringement?

We already have a working relationship with Wizards of the Coast. They are fully aware of how our application works. Hope you'll come by and check it out. We can always use more Magic players.

I have joined up and I gotta say, I really like this program! One thing I would like is a way to state what kind of game you would like to play when you start a new match, ie, Vintage, Legacy, etc. I want to test my Oath and Belcher decks, but its hard when someone is playing Mythic Conscription, as it doesnt allow for people to know what you want to play against! Otherwise, i really like it!

I joined and made a group called TMD Vintage.  Send me a PM here or message me there if anybody wants to play.  Only have MUD built at the moment.  I'll get another deck or three added during lunch.  I haven't actually played a game yet with this thing, so I haven't seen or know how to use the UI.

Here's a link the group.

I signed up for this too and I do really like it Very Happy

Will there be more tokens added, since I could only choose between 8 different ones?

All I have built is a Jund deck but I'll add a few more decks tomorrow, just gotta see what appeals to me ^^'

I also requested an invite for the group, I hope it came through because I didn't get a confirmation message or anything.

My nickname there is McDutch as well. Add me to your friends list if you will Smile

Well, I finally played my first match.  The application is okay -- it's difficult to locate all of the turn functions the first time through, but after finding them I'm happy with what they've done here.  It's good enough.

However, the opponent I had the unfortunate displeasure of playing has an understanding of the game that's on par with the players in the MWS horror story thread.  Basically, the guy plays creature X, in response, I Drain it, and he tries to "bounce" it back to his hand with Call to Heel.  I point out to him why this doesn't work.  He then accuses me of not knowing how the stack works.

This, folks, to the few that have asked me in the past, is why I do not play this game online.

Hey AbdullahTheButcher, thanks for checking out our site and application. Players not knowing how to play cards can be difficult for sure. We do have a lot of good players on the site though, and more often than not the matches pass without issue. I hope you will come by and play a few more. We will be getting a tutorial up in the next few days so that should help players learn the interface.
