Despite not being able to make it up to Myriad in quite some time and a nagging desire to return, I'm going to assume that the wife won't be to supportive of me going to this on her birthday(which also happens to be Mol day for all you chemists out there).

Thanks to everyone else who's preregistered. Looking forward to another fine Vintage event this weekend at Myriad Games: Salem.

We're also hosting the D&D Gamma World Game Day at both our locations (Manchester and Salem), so we'll likely run that as a side event for some bonus prizes!

It's not too late to come on down for another great Vintage event here at Myriad Games. Jump in your car, grab a deck, and get here by 11. We'll look forward to seeing everyone who can make it and we'll have some special bonus prizes (in addition to regular prizes) throughout the event.

During this event, there was some discussion of running Legacy events and/or Vintage events with 0 proxies or 5 proxies. I don't see an option for a poll handy, but I'm very interested in the opinions of folks in our area who would attend these events. Please take a moment to reply if you're in our area and would actually attend these events.

Would you like us to host Legacy events once a month?
Would you like us to host 0 proxy Vintage events?
Would you like us to host 5 proxy Vintage events?
Would you attend weekly Vintage events at Myriad Games?
Would you attend weekly Legacy events at Myriad Games?

Thanks in advance to everyone who takes the time to reply with feedback!

I think there would be value in running legacy events especially when considering the announcement of GP providence. People are going to be looking for tournaments to test legacy decks before May.

I'm 3 hours away, and without a job, but during the summer and school breaks, I probably be down to play legacy if I could find people to go with.

For folks interested in Vintage and Legacy, would you rather have the events back to back - say Legacy on a Saturday and Vintage on a Sunday or vice versa? That would allow folks who travel from a ways off to stay overnight (there are some pretty affordable hotels right nearby) and play in both events.

Or would you prefer to have Vintage one weekend and Legacy another weekend?

1. I had a great time at this event, and played some really fun matches.  Meta few new people as well, props to Tony and Patrick for being good sports and fun opponents.

2. If everyone else wanted Sanctioned, I would not oppose it.  It would mean smaller events, but it may increase the consistency of players which is likely a good long term plan for this hobby of ours.

Would you like us to host Legacy events once a month?

Yes, I'd like to try the format

Would you like us to host 0 proxy Vintage events?

It would make deck building a challenge for a lot of people, but would probably be really fun.  Count me in.

Would you like us to host 5 proxy Vintage events?

YES!

Would you attend weekly Vintage events at Myriad Games?

Not every week, but YES!

Would you attend weekly Legacy events at Myriad Games?

If I actually had a legacy deck, yes, but not every week.

I'd definitely like to see Monthly Legacy tournaments.  Having them back to back with the Vintage events seems like a good idea.

I like the 15-proxy vintage tournaments, but that's because I don't own everything.  If you made it 0-proxy, I probably wouldn't be able to attend.

I'd be more apt to attend some of the weekly events if they were split between the Manchester and Salem locations.   I know that there is already a weekly Legacy tournament that happens in Manchester, I'm not sure the turnout, but you'd definitely have a player base to start out with.

Hope this helps.

I have been playing regularly in the Manchester weekly and could probably bring a few players with me.

Seriously, It looks like there's nothing going on in November. I came back to vintage to play, not to buy all my friends cards and look at them!!  WTF is up with this NE vintage scene anyways? Before it seemed like organizers had to work around each other just to throw tournaments. What happened?
