Blue Bell Game Day #13!
Saturday, March 19th, 2011 Alternate Universes 1530 DeKalb Pike Blue Bell, PA 19422 Vintage Event Start Time: 12:00 Noon (Registration @ 11:00 AM) Entry Fee: $30 Format: Vintage K-Value: Unsanctioned, 10 proxies allowed for free. You can purchase up to five more proxies at $1 each. REL: Competitive (like a PTQ) Decklists will be required (and published). The Prizes: (these prizes are based on +/- 45 players, and will definitely go up if we have more) 1st Place: UL Mox #1! (either Jet or Sapphire) 2nd Place: A 2nd Piece of UL Power! (one of the other Moxen) 3rd + 4th Place: $120 in table credit 5th-8th Place: $60 in table credit 2011 Player of the Year Race:This event will count towards my Blue Bell Game Day Player of the Year 2011. The Player of the Year plays for free at all of the Blue Bell Game Days the following calendar year! Players can earn points throughout the year by playing vintage, each match win is worth 3 points, each draw is worth 1 point, and each loss is worth 0 points (just like the swiss points system used in tournaments). Players in the Top 8 will be awarded bonus points based on their finish, as follows: 1st place: 12 points 2nd place: 9 points 3rd + 4th place: 6 points 5th - 8th place: 3 points Side Events: Single-Elimination 8-Mans for a Mana Drain! Start Time: As soon as 8 players sign up. Entry Fee: $10 Format: Vintage K-Value: Unsanctioned, 15 proxies Prizes: 1st Place: Italian Mana Drain Swiss Side Event This larger Vintage side event will start after the last swiss round. Entry Fee: $10 K-Value: Unsanctioned, 15 proxies Format: Swiss Vintage, no cut. Prize: dependent on how many players (100% of the entry fees will be given out as "Nick Coss bucks" aka table credit) The Blue Bell Player of the Year contest has nothing to do with Wizards of the Coast Player of the Year contest. Do not confuse the two. This one is for participants in unsanctioned Vintage tournaments held at Alternate Universes in Blue Bell, PA.

I will be there, obv, and likely piloting some deck with hate bears in it. Experimenting with Spheres and green enchantments didn't go so well. I was clearly out of my element.
