Here's a once blank playmat that I illustrated with markers several months ago. I ended up selling it, but it was fun to make! Smile

Nothing fancy but maybe a little unusual, I use a piece of brown yak leather that I picked up in Agra, India for about $3. The shop keeper was curious as to why I wanted a custom sized piece of leather but I figured it would be way too difficult to explain!

Afterwards he spent about five minutes trying to convince me that I should 'most definitely buy a pair of leather pants'.

I had this playmat commissioned for me by Greg Fenton

The colors on the mat are a little darker in person.  It's absolutely tremendous, mostly because he's an awesome artist (and a better person)...

Wow! Amazing playmat Greg!

Prospero, love the scene on that mat.  Greg did an insanely amazing job on that too.

I made this one a long time ago(nothing too amazing), but I messed it up when inking it in with the wrong type of colored markers. I just recently picked up a blank purple playmat, and I am still trying to figure out what to draw on it.

I put my Wastelands and Force of Wills in a pitcher and tried to pour them in a cup...... I really didn't see any type of liquidity.

Clearly we need to restrict Lodestone Golem, as he's oppressing the field.

Although a cool idea, I would like to do something relating to vintage!

I had mine done by Mark Poole. I wanted it to be different from everyone else who asked for the normal Ancestral Recall art with a BOP on it.

VERY NICE TO ALL !!!

I've had one in mind for many years now, just can't figure how to get it out of my head, also the fact I would need it to be 2560 x 1440 (27"x15" , .25dpi).
Lets see if I can get it done by GenCon...

 Very Happy

It doesn't look nearly as sharp anymore from using it as a coffee-table cover, but here's what I did to a TMD open mat from a few years ago.

This is not mine but I saw it @ Sant Antoni Market this morning in Barcelona.

The level of detail is simply impressive.

I really like it Smile

The artist said more and more people are getting into altering cards so having to offer another option really makes sense.

I've posted my collection of altered playmats on my site.

I hope to have another one from the artists attending the Emerald City Comicon in March and another from Gen Con.

Keith did this for me a few years ago. It has gotten a lot of use...
