Yep, I tried booking in Philly too and I couldn't find anything reasonably priced. I don't mind roughing it out, sort of, but I was hoping for an actual holiday so I'd highly prefer not to!

Does anybody have any suggestions for where I can find booking in the city?

Wondering the same!

Last year I booked a hotel by the airport and got a decent deal.  However, it was really out of the way and I definitely recommend you don't go that route. (but it is an option) Personally was hoping to have found a hotel by now in the city, but everything seems to be astronomically priced.  If I find something reasonably priced I'll post details.

Would be awesome if you find any. I was also looking at airports closer to the airport and there are some options, but it's really far away and I'd highly prefer not to. If I don't have a choice I'll probably have to do that though.

The train is real close to the convention center, for those of you who are hosed you could look for something on a train stop.

The Marriott in Conshohocken is walking distance from the Conshohocken stop for the R6 which gets you to Market East and the Convention Center in 35ish minutes. Definitely worth consideration at the very least.

Almost a month out. Anyone arriving Friday who wants a Vintage event or some Old School event on Friday should email Nick (organizer @  Feedback@cardtitan.com) and share your feedback.

So just to be 100% clear. . .
• We can show up and pay for entree the day of. Pre-registration is not mandatory.
• We should be there at 10? Or is 10 when it kicks off, and we should be there at like 9-9:30?

Are we able to preorder for the event or book the hotel yet?

Nick won't be running any Old School event on site, so I think we're probably going to do an Old School BYOB side event on Friday in my hotel room or lobby I think (within walking distance from the tournament site, 5-10 min away). I don't imagine there will be that many people that it will be a problem, and this way it won't interfere with the Legacy Champs event on Saturday (which most of us are playing in). I will have some info up on EC once I get it figured out this week.

I wish I was flying in earlier, but I likely won't be there on time.

The original post has been updated with a hotel block that we have set up a few minutes outside the city (believe me when I say that Philly is BUSY this weekend).

Thank you Nick.  Really appreciate the work you put into obtaining a block of rooms, as it was pretty difficult to find a reasonable price out there.  That said, I'm excited!

Good deal on the rooms! The one I found was still a little pricy for my taste. Thanks!

My flight doesn't land until 4:30, so I will miss the beginning of the event.  However, I will get there as soon as I can, and hopefully I can get in some Old School matches, and then some dinner and booze, and then hopefully some more Old School matches.

If anybody is planning on making the trip to the old school event from the Holiday Inn (the block of rooms Nick has reserved for us), do let me know! Public transport seems less than ideal to get there, but if somebody is driving and doesn't mind picking up an extra passenger I would love to chip in for gas and etc to play in the old school event too.

I just registered for both events. Really looking forward to this! Nick hit it out of the park last year on all fronts -- providing a really fun event with great security. I can't wait for another!

They're up on the Card Titan Eternal Weekend website.

As always, the scans never do the paintings justice.
