Can you actually see the average somewhere? I wonder what that would be...

Total time logged in: 4 days, 22 hours and 27 minutes.

I even think that is long... go figure.

After not playing T1 for over a year, this looks like a fun and strong deck to play in the upcoming weekend for me. Thanks for sharing!
6  Vintage Community Discussion / General Community Discussion / Re: BattleStar Galactica: Razor on: November 17, 2007, 12:32:07 am
Frakkin awesome!

I stopped watching when season 3 ended, it's almost time for season 4!!!  I don't see the show on Sci Fi, when do they run it?

www.eztv.nl :p
Ofcourse, there is some uncertainty I guess with the current WGA strike going on.

Lotushead: before I click those links, I assume there are spoilers there?
7  Vintage Community Discussion / General Community Discussion / Re: BattleStar Galactica: Razor on: November 16, 2007, 11:32:45 am
Nice, I actually just started watching it on DVD. I haven't seen a whole lot yet, but so far, it seems like a really cool show, much darker then your general space-based sci-fi show. On a sidenote: Season 4 will be the last right?
8  Vintage Community Discussion / General Community Discussion / Re: Worst Thing to Say During Sex? on: March 17, 2007, 01:00:42 am
"How do you actually spell your name, anyway?"

"M A R Y, why?"

well, maybe it's not the worst...
9  Eternal Formats / Miscellaneous / Re: [Article] Vintage. Something. Just read it. on: March 09, 2007, 03:20:52 am
Interesting article, well written. I don't play as much vintage anymore as I used to, but I like the threshold deck, and will certainly try it out Smile
10  Vintage Community Discussion / General Community Discussion / Re: Poll: Which Card is the Best Candidate for Unrestriction? on: February 20, 2007, 04:55:12 pm
@Steve: I just realised I'm missing a poll option: What about Library of Alexandria?
11  Vintage Community Discussion / General Community Discussion / Re: How would you fix the metagame? on: February 20, 2007, 04:53:29 pm
To answer the question originally asked
1. Ban Will
2. Restrict Drain
3. Restrict Bazaar
4. Restrict Workshop
5. Restrict Oath (Oath would probably be insane with the above choices)

Personally, I see nothing wrong with the format right now.

Will vs Anti-Will is nothing wrong? W/e makes you happy Surprised

To adress your restriction choices: Where would a restriction schedule like that leave something like Dark Ritual, Goblin Welder, Intuition and Grim Tutor?
12  Vintage Community Discussion / General Community Discussion / Re: How would you fix the metagame? on: February 18, 2007, 01:59:59 pm
without looking beyond the opening post, THE way to fix it is: Ban Yawgs Will and Tinker (aka: shut off lucksack wins) - And then see what's a problem.
13  Vintage Community Discussion / General Community Discussion / Re: Poll: Which Card is the Best Candidate for Unrestriction? on: February 18, 2007, 01:58:01 pm
So all of those were restricted at the same time? That's totally mind-boggling..

A little off-topic, but some small sidenote is needed here: They restricted all those cards because they were in the one deck that everybody was playing, so just to be sure, they restricted pretty much everything they could!

Right now, Key would be fine, and Mind twist isn't a problem card at all. I'm not convinced Dream Halls should come off, it's probably best to just let it be. Black Vise might be interesting, I'm not sure.

Congrats Jeek!
15  Vintage Community Discussion / General Community Discussion / Re: Diablo II - Does anyone have characters on USEast/USWest? on: December 26, 2006, 08:16:27 pm
Also, I need ideas for my merc helm. I'm thinking about CoA with two facets, but that will be hard to put together and may not be worth it.

Eth Andys. Since you want to use infinity (btw, go lightning, not fire), your merc is going to need 200str. He won't have that on his own until lvl93. (IIRC).
On a sidenote: I started playing again a few weeks ago (like 3) with some friends, and since it is really easy to get all the nuts stuff, I'm pretty much back up to full strenght. I'm on Europe realm this time around though.
16  Vintage Community Discussion / General Community Discussion / Re: R&D does care about Vintage! on: December 04, 2006, 12:13:34 pm
Just because they play Vintage, doesn't mean they care about vintage...  Wink
17  Vintage Community Discussion / Non-Vintage / Re: TS Draft Play Situation on: November 13, 2006, 01:20:10 pm
What plays other than the all-ins described above are you considering?
18  Eternal Formats / Global Vintage Tournament Reports and Results / Re: [Report] Myriad Games: No split in the finals! on: November 13, 2006, 01:15:05 pm
Nice reports, congrats on the Mox.

Why could you not watch the other T8 matches? You were not allowed to get any hints or whatever? Why not just hand out decklists ^^

20  Eternal Formats / Miscellaneous / Re: Is Mana Drain currently out of place? on: November 06, 2006, 05:00:03 pm
To answer your main question: it depends on what you want it to do. The only way that it'll work if if you drain just about anything given the opportunity, making it a blue ritual. Since I started playing some T1 again with the Drain-TPS deck, it's funny how it's the worst card in the entire deck, but is overall just a tad stronger than Duress, since you are guaranteed to at least hit something, and then on the back of that win during your own turn.
21  Vintage Community Discussion / Non-Vintage / Re: [Announcement] Dutch Open Legacy Champs! on: October 30, 2006, 02:15:22 pm
I almost can't tell you how cool I think it is that you made the finals with Pox. This is an almost 1 on 1 copy of the Pox build I played in Vintage several hundred years ago (except, ofcourse, for the smallpox, and the mana base, which included lotus/jet and no cabal pit).

That's it. I'm playing Legcay from now on Smile

Should suit you better, since you didn't bother going to tournaments anyway, and there are next to no legacy tournaments to go to :p

Congrats to Hugo and Rudie, and the other T8'ers. Well done!
22  Vintage Community Discussion / General Community Discussion / Re: The World Series on: October 29, 2006, 02:41:00 pm
As a side note, it also has Canadian teams, so it's not just a national championship.

Do they ever win?
23  Vintage Community Discussion / General Community Discussion / Re: Daylight Savings on: October 29, 2006, 02:40:05 pm
Daylight savings = Coffee savings. I drank at least a cup less, maybe even two!

24  Vintage Community Discussion / Non-Vintage / Re: [Announcement] Dutch Open Legacy Champs! on: October 29, 2006, 02:37:34 pm
I hope Bram decided to wake up for this!

No, he did not. If anyone is surprised, they do not know him as well as they think they do :p

At least this time, I did manage to not forget to give him back the cards I loaned for GP Lille last year Smile
25  Vintage Community Discussion / Non-Vintage / Re: [Announcement] Dutch Open Legacy Champs! on: October 29, 2006, 02:33:04 pm
I assume so, and it isn't finished yet.

I was playing badly, so I stopped.

As soon as I see any info, I'll post it here. If I don't see it in the coming week, I'll call some people and harass them about it for you Smile

Attendance = 132 players.
26  Vintage Community Discussion / General Community Discussion / Re: JACOB ORLOVE: Please don't lock my account. on: October 25, 2006, 05:33:37 pm
Not yet. I haven't found a foil Dromar.

When you were mailing Womprax, he wasn't mailing you. Niv-Mizzet is a total bomb! He eats Dromar for lunch yo!

Welcome back sir!
27  Vintage Community Discussion / Non-Vintage / Re: [Announcement]Dutch Open Legacy Champs! on: October 08, 2006, 06:39:35 pm
yes, I will be there.

29  Vintage Community Discussion / Non-Vintage / Re: What will Standard look like when Time Spiral becomes legal? on: September 30, 2006, 05:28:44 pm
Dragonstorm!

At least, that is what my playing on the Modo TS beta says.
30  Eternal Formats / Miscellaneous / Re: New Card Discussion: Lotus Bloom on: August 27, 2006, 08:05:47 am
For T1 one, this card sucks. It's awful if not in your opening hand, and even if it is, it's too slow.
