Ray, you got some 'splainin' to do. I figure they're serving as Moxen 6-8. Playing a Borderpost + Transmute into Vault takes 3 mana on board, same as Mox + Transmute. As a side bonus, Borderpost is "free" when replaying the land you bounce for it (or in corner cases, nets mana off Academy). The thing about the list that worried me more was SadSac/Thada being pretty much scoop phase.

...I believe i now have to protest all future articles written by you. The reason "There’s a group of New Yorkers that have competed at Blue Bell Vintage events for some time, including Max Brown, Nick Detwiler, Vinny and Raf Forino, Austin Pollack, and others."
guess I am just one of the others. Where is justice!

I wanted to vote 0-6 just to bruise your ego.
I approve of Mike Egan's deck choice! I would say I played the same 75/75 at a recent tournament, even down to the SB Seasingers and Energy Flux and Mystic Remora, but alas he played the maindeck Timetwister where I had the 2nd Jace.
Also, I did get ruined by that G/W hatebear.dec in the first round. I really wanted to know how he ended up as the rounds went by.

What do you expect, that card costs like seventy bucks! Just because we’re Vintage players doesn’t make us saps!
I think Ryan Glackin will catch that one. Dude, the Jace proxy is not the issue here! Elias, you're out of your element! Shut the f*** up Hangley! And while we're at it why the f*** are all these tournaments held on Shabbos?

Brad, The "G/W Hatebear" deck that I designed with Chris went 2-3-1 (The only other victory was the last round "bye."). After speaking with him on the results, almost all of his losses were due to 'broken' plays. In this case, broken plays were "time vault/voltaic key in opening hand" or an early tinker before he could get a game going. Chris and I are making a few more tweaks to the deck, but otherwise, we were satisfied with the results in causing players to play "fair" when he was able to get a game plan going.

I'd never run them in anything outside of draft, and never realized. Looking back at the list, he apparently accounted for that, which explains the really high basic count. I was kinda wondering about that.
