I really can't wait for this.  Every time that I've gone I've had an incredible time.

There's no tourney like a Nick Coss tourney...

I have said it befor and i will say it again. If you have never been to a Philly open(even when its in nj) you need to get your ass down to this one!!!!! Its an event that you will be talking about till the cows come home!

@ NYSE Nick.... Don't you worry your events are steller and imo ,they might be the best monthly events going!

@Jon Richards.... I cant wait to see a member of the alliance in a type2 top 8! Uae the force and make us proud!!!!!

Force of Will isn't even Standard legal @.@

All the good strip joints are in New York... New Jersey is just retarded and Philly just cannot be explained... Ask John Jones, who has been propositioned by one before, and he'll tell you what to expect... You might have to settle for Man Titties this time.

Looking forward to the madness, nick save me a spot in the standard top 8.

This one time in a top 8 I had to dream crush you on my way to sweet sweet victory. Let's see if we can make this happen again even IF it is in a standard tourney.

Thank God you run these events at a decent hour.

I'm working again, and I'm stuck working midnights again.  Seems as though I'm destined to never play in one of your events on a good nights sleep...

Nick will post a full TO report I'm sure, and I'll have access to all of the decklists for analysis.

There were 68 players today, making this one of the larger Vintage tournaments in the US this year (plus a whopping 173 players for Standard).  Thanks to everyone who made the trip today!

I made a quick pass through the decklists and I counted 4 Ichorid decks and 7 Oath decks.  The winning Ichorid list ran Narcs, Ichorid, and Blooghast with Iona as a reanimation target.  At least 10 decks had Iona in the main or SB... the card is definitely having a major effect on Vintage.

This was a great event.  Very well run, especially considering the number of people on hand.  There were more than enough judges on hand, which was another major plus.  While the day didn't end as I'd have liked, I had a great time and was very happy to have gone.

Aside from the multiple round one game losses handed out because of a lack of audible announcement, this was awesome. Well run, especially given the amazing turnout. Good to see everyone again and I was impressed at how many people showed up for this.

With so many people chatting, it was very hard to hear announcements. Maybe next time like a megaphone or something? No one deserves a game one loss because they couldn't hear one guy and they were on the other end of the hall.

This was an excellent event. A great turnout and the location was very nice. Very convenient and plentiful parking, enough tables, chairs and lots of great vintage players. I hope you hold a few more tourneys of this caliber in the future.
